This is my first time doing a scattergories challenge and I have a question about the second half of the challenge: The word that starts with letter B has to be the name of a sweet item or a sweet word like honey Buns or can it be any word that starts with B that is in the same sentence as the a sweet word like a Basket of cookies...I don't know if I make any sense...In the latter case does basket count even though it is not the name of a sweet item? Sorry if i sound confusing.
Melike wrote: "This is my first time doing a scattergories challenge and I have a question about the second half of the challenge: The word that starts with letter B has to be the name of a sweet item or a sweet ..."
Hi Melike, there are two ways of playing the second half. You can either find the actual capitalized word (i.e METEOR, SWEET, WRITING etc) but the sentence it is in must contain at least one word starting with B so "basket of sweets" would work but "packet of sweets" (no B) or "basket of cookies" (no SWEET) wouldn't. That way scores one point.
The second way is to find an example of the category (i.e space word, sweet word, word associated with writing etc) that begins with B, so "brownies", chocolate "biscuits" etc. That way scores two points.
Any extra words in the sentence that begin with B will also score a point each so "big beautiful brownies" for example would be worth 4 points (2 for brownies, 1 each for big and beautiful).
Hope that makes sense!

No problem, Sharon. Caroline explained it well, I think I got the hang of it and I am really enjoying it.
