Lorien looked up and blushed madly. She absolutely hated it whenever this happened.
"I'm fine. Thank you for doing that." She mumbled as the boy grabbed her stuff.

Lorien decided that she should just transport her items at home and that's exactly what she did. All the bags disappeared with a slight pop! noise.
"I'm okay. Just a bit wobbly is all." Lorien replied clutching her head.
"I'm okay. Just a bit wobbly is all." Lorien replied clutching her head.
"Fantastic." Lorien said sarcastically, giving him a small smile. She leaned a bit on his arm not really caring that people were staring.
Lorien found a bench to sit on until she stopped feeling weird. "I'm glad you were able to help me. Thank you."
"Yup. Runs in the family," Lorien sighed. "I'm fourteen so they placed me in Level four at Foxfire. Was close to being a Level five but I guess they didn't want me to be the young elf "genius". What about you?"
"Wow. Level six, huh?" Lorien held her chin on her palm. "Nothing's wrong with being a genius, at least not to me, but I guess some elves would see it as "unusual". I honestly don't care what they think so long if I get good grades and please my parents."
This guy had to be at least seventeen. And she was a measly fourteen. Lorien sighed. She hated how long those three years felt.

Lorien snapped back into reality. "What? Oh! Passing is fine, it's just that I was thinking about, um, other things," Lorien blushed, clutching her skirt. Why couldn't she act normal with a single guy? He would probably think she was weird and want to run away from her as quickly as he could.
Lorien shook her head. "Not yet. I had planned on buying a few custard bursts but then I fell." Lorien began to straighten out her skirt and adjusted her ear accessory.
"Sure, we can do that. Grabbing something to eat and save the custard bursts I mean." Lorien said, slowly getting up.
"Um, usually the Pops! have some pretty good ruffle muffins and custard bursts. You can order the custard bursts in any flavor you want," Lorien said, as they walked down the streets. "We're really close to it."
"Things for a project I'm working on." Lorien said quietly.
She shouldn't trust him but something told her she can.

"Yeah. I have lots of plans. Besides graduation from Foxfire, of course what about you?" Lorien asked.
Pops! was just around the corner.
Pops! was just around the corner.
Lorien looked back and noticed how bright his eyes were and blushed a little.
"That makes sense," Lorien looked at the building. A huge sign said Pops! on the top and the whole building was a splash of soft colors.
"Well, welcome to Pops!."

"The mint and chocolate custard bursts are always my favorite and also the gurbleroot sandwich is excellent. Pretty much anything in this store is great!" Lorien felt like a small elf coming in here again. The smells were divine and the displays of food looked terrific.
"You've got to try the mint custard bursts!" Lorien exclaimed, dragging Lake to the cashier.
(Sorry Nobody, g2g. But I'll be back on tomorrow. What time is it for you now? For me
It's past 12)

"Well, if it isn't Miss Forster herself! Welcome to our humble bakery." Seru said, bowing towards Lorien. The old man always did this whenever she entered his shop. And It always made Lorien blush. She didn't want to the center of attention. But if it meant purchasing a few custard bursts, she thought it was well worth it.
"Hello, Seru." Lorien said, conjuring her green cube out of thin air. It landed safely in her palm.
" 'Hello, Seru'. I pay my wife to tell me that. Besides, don't you think there's something I should know?" Seru kept looking at the two back and forth.

Seen seemed surprised. "You chose a good one Lorien, I'll give you that."
"But we're not -" Seru held up his hand.
"I know it when I see it. After all, I've lived much longer than the two of you combined. Now, I know either of you came here to listen to an old elf. What can I help you with today, Miss Forster?"Seru asked.
"May we please have an order of mint chocolate custard bursts with another order of two gurbleroot sandwiches." Lorien asked.
"Yes, you may," Seru gestured his hand for Lorien to give him her green cube. He swiped a card above it and handed the cube back to Lorien. "The custard bursts will be ready in about an hour or so and the gurbleroot should take thirty minutes."
"Thank you, Seru."
"Always a pleasure Miss Forster." Seru bowed again and walked off into the kitchen.

"Oh. Sorry. You're not allergic to gurbleroot are you?" Lorien asked, seating herself by the window.
"Okay. Well, to answer your other question I come here daily. I love it here cause whenever I order anything, I can go back home and it'll just appear right in front of me. It's awesome actually, especially when you have tons of homework and finals coming up. It's great to have motivation." Lorien said, looking out the window.
"Yeah. He's been around for quite some time. Some people even say he was one of the Ancients. He's also a family friend so I saw him a lot when was little." Lorien turned away from the window and wandered eyes around the shop.
Trying very hard not to stare at those eyes.
Trying very hard not to stare at those eyes.
"Um, well, I manifested Conjuring when I was about twelve and I just got Frosting." Lorien fumbled with her skirt. "Uh, what about you?"
"Wow. A Shade! That's awesome! I wanted to be a Shade so badly but then I got Conjuring," Lorien huffed. "Two abilities is nice but then you have to take additional classes and it's real pain when you have to study every little detail on what your ability can and can not do for finals."
"Oh, thanks. I see your point. I read that Shades can read 'the darkness within us all' and that they can stay right where they are while allowing their Shadow to travel to someone else's shadow and the two people can have conversations going back and forth," Lorien looked up and blushed. She really needed to get it under control with the whole blush fest.
"Wow. Really? I would love that!" Lorien yelled. She noticed all the eyes staring right at her and want to hide so badly. "I always did wanted to know what Shadow whispering was like. Oh and also my classes are usually near the silver tower." She whispered.
"Please. Even if you bothered me unexpectedly, I can still ace those classes," Should she tell him or not that was the question. "Well, it's okay. Could be better but I'd rather not be too picky."
"I don't, it's just that," Lorien looked at him softly. "I don't know if I can trust you."
All he had to say was that one word and she would tell him.
All he had to say was that one word and she would tell him.
"Here goes. About a year or so ago, by brother was killed in flames. Right there. At his house. Once we heard about the flames, they told us it was Everblaze and right at that moment I felt a cold creeping up my spine. That was when I became a Froster. I tried to put out the fires but they told me it was no use and my brother was probably already dead," Lorien slammed a fist on the table. "They told me I couldn't do anything to save my big brother while I just stood there and watched. It was like murderers were taunting me to attempt to out their glorious fire. And ever since that day, I promised myself that I would hunt every last Pyro, until they all were banished from the Lost Cities. That's the project I was working on at home and my brother's the reason for it."
Lorien was in shock. Lahke was hugging her! Actually hugging her even though she had just told him her darkest secret. Nobody except this boy knew. Nobody.
Lorien returned the hug and nestled her head into his shoulder. "Thank you." She whispered and began to cry.

((I know!!!! It was super funny when i did that!))
Lorien continued to cry.
He who had just known her for the past hour was just comforting her as if they were friends all along.
Lorien wiped her tears and smiled weakly. "I've heard that before."
She was recalling the time he had said 'No need to thank me'.

((Haha. Lahke is just so sweet!!!!!))
"I'm sure you say that to anyone you help," Lorien said, looking up to his soft face. "My brother never should've died but I know that if he didn't, I wouldn't be the person I am now." She continued to lay her head on his shoulder.

((Well, you did excellent job with making him super sweet!))
Lorien just snuggled deeper into his shoulder and within a few minutes she was asleep.

Lorien continued to sleep.
"Here's your food!" Seru nearly shouted, coming around the corner and placed the sandwiches on the table.

"Ah, yes. She does tend to fall asleep on the people who she has learned to care about." Seru said, walking back to the kitchen.
Lorien slowly opened her eyes. She shook her head and widen her eyes as she saw the position she was in. She could feel her head turning red.
"I hope I didn't drool on you." Lorien said as she dragged her plate over.

((That boy really is the sweetest!!!! I think Lorien (not me the other one) may have a crush on him now if it wasn't obvious before.))
((Yep... I'm gonna be ghosting now cuz I'm not really doing anything, but I should be getting notifications, so yeah. Bye!))
"Trust me, you don't want to find out what she could do to you." Lorien sad, swallowing her bites.
