Happy Halloween!
I've been switching between a couple books this week so didn't finish either but probably will today or tomorrow. I've given up on worrying about some of the categories, I'm focusing on getting to my goal number and I'll see what categories I fill in that. A couple books for my categories I am on the waiting list for the library so they'll likely come in the new year so I'm not going to stress over it.
How did everyone else's week go? How are you celebrating Halloween if you do? Hubby and I like to decorate pretty elaborately and we'll take the boys out to family and friends tonight :)

Charline (charline84) | 80 comments Hey guys :)
Well last week I finished The Whispering City which was pretty average. I had a look over the popsugar challenge for this year and it fitted into the prompt of murder mystery.

My next prompt is going to be a book and it's prequel and I'm going to read The Angel's Game and The Prisoner of Heaven

Mandy | 89 comments Good morning!

Tara your Halloween plans sound pretty epic. We did the train of terror on Saturday night and then we headed over to a friends house on Halloween to give out candy. He got close to 200 kids knocking on his door.

My goal is pretty similar to yours Tara. I finished my goal number a couple of months ago but by the looks of it I won't finish my prompts. None of the books that I chose are holding my interest and I can't seem to concentrate while listening to audio books either. Right now I'm reading The Chaperone and I'm enjoying it but of course it doesn't fit into any of my current prompts.

I haven't heard of those books Charline but the synopsis on them look quite interesting. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on them.

Happy reading everyone!

Charline (charline84) | 80 comments There's also another book in the series Mandy called The Shadow of the Wind I read it earlier this year and loved it. Even though it is a trilogy of books, you can read them in any order, or as a stand alone book too.

Oh I read that for book club, Mandy I can't remember if it was the one you're in. I really liked it but didn't realize it was a series.
