Rowan and Dante's Dorm
Rowan flew into his dorm through the window, making sure it would stay open enough so that Terra could get in too.
Terra flew in and smiled softly at him. "Thanks. Are you sure you're okay?" She asked worriedly, looking at his shoulder.
"Alright, good," Rowan smiled and went to his closet, grabbing out a shirt before he pulled off the one he was wearing. He didn't even think about the fact that she was still in the room to see him. He was a little slower in putting the new one on because he realized that going fast hurt his shoulder. Though mostly healed, it could still ache.
Terra looked back at him and shook his head. "No, but does it still hurt?" She asked softly and gently placed her hand over it, not putting any pressure at all.
"No, not at all," Rowan said. "It probably would if you put a lot of pressure on it, and it hurt when I changed my shirt too fast."
Terra frowned and nodded before sighing. "I'm so sorry I dragged you into this.... It's all my fault." She said softly and looked down, turning away from him.
Terra frowned and looked back at him, confused. "What do you mean? How do you have anything to do with this?" She asked.
Rowan took a deep breath, conflicted because he had promised he wouldn't tell anyone. But if he'd been betrayed already, then he felt like the deal was off. Still, he was worried. He met Terra's eye and decided he would tell her. "Sit down and I'll explain."
Rowan closed the window and made sure the door was locked before pulling out his desk chair and sitting in it so he was facing her. "This might get complicated," he said seriously. "And I don't expect it to make much sense to you. So I'll start really simply. I told someone very dangerous how to get to the school."
Terra's eyes widened a bit and wanted to ask questions but held her tongue and stayed quiet, waiting for him to explain.
Rowan opened his mouth to continue, but paused. "You can't tell anyone about anything I tell you," he said, hoping that he could trust her on this.
"Good," he nodded and continued. "About....eight years ago, I was on my way home from school and accidentally took the route back that my dad told me not to. I didn't think it was a big deal, but apparently it was. I got stopped by a gypsy who brought me into her tent. You know, that was probably the biggest mistake of all of this." He felt like such an idiot then, and he still did today.

"I could tell there was something off about her, she smelled wrong, but I couldn't resist it...." Rowan sighed. "Anyway, I went in her tent and sat in front of her crystal ball, expecting her to show me my future or something. I was wrong, hopefully. While I was staring into the ball, a woman's face appeared and quickly it just turned into her completely. Needless to say, I was freaked out before I could even comprehend who the woman was."
"It was my grandmother. The one we never talk about," Rowan answered. "Originally, I just took a guess. There was a woman standing in front of me who looked like my dad, what was I going to think? I'd never met her before, so I just straight up asked and it turned out I was right."
"I tried to leave then, get away because I knew nothing good would happen. But I stopped when she threatened my baby sister," Rowan said, looking down. "She said that if I didn't help her, she would turn River to stone... So, I said I would help. A couple months ago, my grandmother asked me to help her get into the school. And, well....."
"You did." Terra finished softly. She gulped, knowing she would regret asking but decided to anyway. "Rowan.... Who's your grandmother?" She asked.
"Her name is Freya, she's the Vampire Queen of....wherever my father came from," Rowan answered. "She's a horrible woman..... She made me swear not to tell anyone this. And I don't want people to think bad or me.....though they should. She told me that she has an army to destroy the school. An army! I'm letting an army in! Filled with all sorts of people who only want to hurt and destroy. This is supposed to be a safe place, but because of me....it isn't....."
Terra frowned a bit and held his hand. "It's not your fault. And you're not the only one to blame. I let Rinzler out and that resulted in an entire Grid army coming into this world." She told him gently.
"Well how do you think they got here? How do you think he knew me?" Rowan asked. "They're working with her. So they're my fault too. They hurt you and it's because of something I did. I might have fixed it partially.....but still."
Terra frowned and cupped his cheek gently. "Hey, look at me" she said softly and cupped his other cheek so she was holding his face gently. "It's not your fault. Clu would've gotten me one way or another. What happened today was my fault." She said softly.
Rowan looked at her, obviously still upset. "I still feel like it's my fault...." He admitted quietly. "Rinzler caught me because I was running away like a coward. If i hadn't done that, he wouldn't have caught me, hurt me, and used me as bait to reprogram you."
Terra frowned softly. She didn't know what to tell him. So instead, she closed her eyes and kissed him gently but lovingly.
Rowan felt guilty still, but still kissed her back softly. He wished he hadn't done any of that, but he was glad she wasn't horrified at him and hadn't tried to get away.
Rowan moved from his seat and sat on the bed beside her instead, making sure not to break contact. He kissed her gently, starting to feel a little better.
Terra smiled and waited for him to move the kiss forward at all, not wanting to seem like something she wasn't.
Rowan wrapped his arms around her, smiling as he kissed her lovingly. He really was glad she wasn't mad at him about the whole situation. It made him feel like he didn't deserve it though.
Terra smiled as she kissed back lovingly, wrapping her arms around his neck loosely and playing with his hair a little while she kissed him.
Rowan smiled against her lips, happy with her. Kissing her made the worries go away. It made him feel like the world was melting away and all that was left was the two of them. He carefully moved closer as he gently pulled her to him.
Rowan didn't ever want to stop kissing her, but he knew they'd have to stop soon, just to breath. So he savored every second of her in his arms, her lips against his.
Terra smiled and held on as long as she could before she had to pull away a bit for air and sighed softly, resting her forehead against his.
Rowan smiled at her, still holding her. Suddenly, out of nowhere, he figured it out. "Dude! I just figured out why we felt so awkward," he said.
Terra frowned a bit when he called her dude and pulled away slightly. "You just figured it out?" She asked softly.

Rowan looked at her with a slight frown, not understanding why she backed up. "Well, I mean I guess I realized it before, but now it's kind of registered."
Terra relaxed a bit. She had been afraid he was just kissing her as a player and to mess with her heart. Terra, Rowan wouldn't do that. He's not that kind of guy.... right? She thought and bit her lip slightly and looked down, thinking it over.
Rowan let go of her, wondering if what he'd said was wrong. Maybe how he thought it was wasn't how it was for her? Maybe...she didn't want it like that? How lowered his head, worried now that maybe she didn't actually like him.
Terra looked back up at him. "Rowan.... You..." She stopped and sighed and looked down again. "I Just... I don't know what any of this means to you...."
"Well, um....." Rowan chewed on his lip, glancing at her. "I...like you a lot. A-and I...well I don't want this, whatever this is, to be just a...a thing that'll be over in a week." He didn't really know how to explain what it meant to him, but he knew what he felt about it.

The room is the size of two bedrooms conjoined and has two sides. Each side has a bed, a desk with a chair, a closet and dresser, and a bedside table. There is a bathroom off to the side.
