Part 4

Lots happening in these chapters, Mat goes into the palace and stumbles across two factions of Aes Sedai in the palace. Man Ebou Dar has been infested by Darkfriends + Aes Sedai + Black Ajah. Just too many players in the game for my liking and their strange names does not help at all.

Meanwhile Elayne & Nyaneve are told by Aviendha that they owe Mat an apology, now both of these girls apologising is certainly going to create a huge scene, which takes most of the chapter.

Also Elayne & Nyaneve are dragged by Satolla anan the inn keeper to another coven of wilders and runners. Nyaneve smells something fishy.

We come to know that the Shaido have been mislead by Sammael & Gerandael.

also Rand meets with Cadasune the oldest Aes Sedai alive which sends sparks flying.

I'm pretty sure the stuff with Mat was in the last section. At least I hope so, since I posted about it there.

The second half of your post is stuff I haven't read yet, so that must be in the upcoming chapters.

I just mostly came here to say how much I like Catsuane. I don't think I cared for her much on my first read though. I've been wondering for awhile when she would show up though.

I am amazed at how many new factions and characters keep getting introduced. I am able to keep the factions straight and recognize most characters once I know their setting but it is tough keeping everyone straight.

Nynaeve and Elayne are having a tough time.

Ya Salidar is infested with dark friends+aes sedai+white cloaks.

I think the story starts to get bogged down a bit because of all the new characters and factions in these middle books. Although I enjoyed this one more on my reread than I did the first time.
