From what I've heard about this book that's something we will almost definitely want to do..

Yeah, I'm a collector though. I love my bookshelves and I just enjoy being able to flick around in a book more. I won't get into it here though - I know people have strong opinions one way or the other :)

This'll be the first digital book I read this year though!

I totally get you, you can find awesome deals on used books, plus it's the thrill of the hunt. More importantly it's a lot easier to lend to my mom (who would destroy all of us on the Shame Challenge btw)

I've started a little early- just read the first couple of chapters. It's a really fascinating world the author has created..

Yeah, nothing beats the magic of searching through second hand book stores, never knowing what you're going to find!

I'm gonna hop into the first few chapters now before bed, will hopefully take a chunk out of it tomorrow.

I started early too, I'm about 6 chapters in. Man, this is even darker than I remember.

Yep, some genuinely hilarious interactions so far!

I'm just up to Chapter 8 myself. Enjoying things so far - the concepts seemed to be explained fairly without over-explaining, and a lot of demonstrations are used rather than exposition, which keeps things flowing nicely.

I'm very interested to see where this goes!

Click the option just above the text box which says ' some html is showing. Scroll down and find the code for spoiler. Copy and paste. Between the brackets which say spoiler, this is where you write your spoiler comment

Right. If you go to Girls, guns and grimoires group. Look at their GG&G bulletin board at the top, they have a post thread which talks you through how to post a spoiler.
It helps but I still got it wrong to start with. If you copy and paste the text they show you into your text box, you still need to make sure your info goes between the first side of the brackets and the second set, otherwise you end up with the link that says 'hide spoiler' but your spoiler remains on the outside...

The doppels had me cracking up. My wife would say it's that funny? You have to read it. My retelling will never do it justice.

Just up at Chapter 15 now. I'm loving the pacing - there's plenty happening, the world is being developed nicely, and I'm not getting bogged down with the concepts being repeated constantly.

I'm especially glad you like this given our talks on Baker's works. This is more what I was expecting reading that. I love Fletcher's writing and world.
