Outlander Series discussion

I'm going to the Outlander fan convention, 'Thru the Stones' in Iowa in December. I was wondering if anyone else on here is also going?

So do people come dressed up like characters? That might be cool to see.

The first night there is a trivia contest about the first 8 books-and the winning team gets to sit with Terry Dresbach, Emmy award winning costume designer for the show! There are classes on Saturday morning and at the dinner on Saturday night, there will be tons of people dressed in costume. I'm going as one of the druids-and I made my dress and torch. :)

That's really cool. Iowa's a bit too far for me to make the trip so close after the Thanksgiving holiday.

Will do, Sassafrass! It's almost five hours by car for me-but a group of us are car pooling and sharing hotel rooms. TWO WEEKS! I cannot wait!
