The Around the Year in 52 Books 2017 Author Map
In 2017, in addition to the Reading Map, we will also map authors as well. We will map where the authors of the books we read for the challenge were born, and their residence, if known. The map's primary layer will be for author birthplace. A secondary layer will be for the author's current residence (if living), where the book was written (if known), or any other location that is of importance to the author.
A few ground rules, similar to the Reading Map:
1. Only submit the books you've finished reading.
2. Try to be as specific as you can with your location information.
3. Around the Year Challenge books only, please.
There will be one birthplace map marker per author. The marker will include the book submitted. If you already see the author on the map, go ahead and submit your book anyway. You will be included as a submitter as well.
-------------------------------------------------------------
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR BOOK:
Link the book and author in the comments using the "add book/author" feature above the comment box. Don't forget to include the location so we know where to map it and specify whether it's a birthplace or residence. If you don't have all the birthplace and residence information for the author, that's okay. Submit what you do have.
EXAMPLE:
Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue
Birthplace: Limbe, Cameroon
Residence: New York City, New York
