I'll look through what I have, but I can't promise anything. I don't tend to have duplicate titles, and most classics and such that I have are either keepers or current books for my classes. If I had heard about this back when money wasn't so tight, I'd buy extra copies and send you a bunch, but that's no longer an option. Now, even postage is a lot of money.Though, if you have other books to offer in trade (or can come up with money to buy credits), you may want to try paperbackswap.com. You can't really build a library that way, but it should let you get the ones you most critically need in exchange for some that aren't as important. Hopefully, you'll at least be able to get some of the books needed for assignments and such. I use the site all the time, and it's great.
Tiffany,Thank you for looking. I do appreciate it. YEah, the post office is a lot. The only thing that helps is that there is a media rate if it is all books and there are the new boxes for postage that if it fits the box it is one price.
I do not have extras but will pass that addy on to the teachers and maybe that will help. For the fundraiser we did, we got 50 dollars. That got taken to bookcloseouts.com and we were able to get 10 or 12 books( can not remember exact) and shipping. They are a great sight. I have found books for as low as 84 cents. Check it out you may find some you want there for outrageously cheap.
Thank you so much! I am sure the kids will love them. I know the teachers and parents are thankful for the help. You are an awesome person and we appreciate you!!!
I wanted to take this time to thank Vincent again for letting us post this here and for all of the wonderful people who have taken the time to read this. The thoughtfulness is appreciated.
