Fans of Barbara Kingsolver discussion

Did you finish this book? I didn't want to respond and give spoilers if you hadn't. I do see similarities between the two novels and was actually thinking about that last night!

I kept trying to go back to it for nearly a month. I think I got to page 100 or a little more. I could just never get into it and finally gave up.

I just finished it. I preferred Prodigal Summer (in my top 5 favourite books of all time) as it was more about character than the environment but also gave FB 5*. I can see why it annoys and bits of it annoyed me but it was still Kingsolver gold i.e. Light years better than most else I have read! I liked Dellarobia, thought the male characters were very under-developed.
