Fantasy Book Club discussion

Helloo I was looking for your recommendations re: series/writers that have a similar feel to the Gentleman Bastards series. Big focus on world building, extra points for a great villain.

A lot of people like to compare Lynch with Rothfuss and vice versa, so I'd suggest taking a look at the Kingkiller Chronicle series if you haven't already.

Ha! Glad someone else thought it.

I'm still upset about the whole Thorn of Emberlain debacle! If it's not done, telling people about it 3 weeks before it's supposed to be released is just not how to manage the situation!

It didn't phase me. I fully expected it, after the Republic of Thieves debacle. That's one of those books I won't even add to my TBR until it really comes out.

Along with the next Rothfuss and Martin books.
