Vis a vis the call for new writers, group members may like to know that my debut novel, "Sherlock Holmes and the Ciphered List", by Simon Trelawney, has recently been published, by Breese Books, an imprint of Baker Street Studios. It was published on 6th June, 2022 and is available in paperback at £10.99 from the publishers at www.breesebooks.com or from Amazon. It is a rollicking spy adventure story involving Holmes & Watson's attempts to expose a German espionage ring operating in England, and involves the duo in murder, blackmail and much, much else.
Okay, I just came on because a few of the topics looked interesting and I love Holmes, though many of the Holmes groups seem to have a frenzy of discussion and then go quiet for a long time. But over the past couple years I read (and reviewed a few) of the anthologies put out by MX Publishing. There are a couple other publishers that are doing this, though I think MX is at the forefront. It is also a mix of short pieces, short stories, essays, some poetry, some of them are themed (Christmas, etc) .

MX is lucky to have an editor like David Marcum running the project. His drive and enthusiasm is incredible.
