1000 Books Before You Die discussion

For discussion of Cakes and Ale by W. Somerset Maugham

I read this back in 2018 and should have come by to post. I gave it 5 stars at the time. The writing is excellent and the humor is wry. More novel than comedy, and an interesting slice of early 20th century life.
