The Stranger by Albert Camus--really intriguing especially if you're interested in the thought processes and emotional detachments of psychopaths/sociopaths

Crime and Punishment - Aside from a setting of 1860s Russia, it's the first book I've read from the P.o.v. of a criminal. You get to see the motives of a criminal and the angst along with guilt after effects of his heinious act.
