Susanne (susanne1988) In December we will be reading The Catcher in the Rye. This book is being mentioned multiple times during the series. Rory compares Jess to the character Holden Caulfield. For instance, Rory says, "I guess that's what you have to do when you're trying to be Holden Caulfield".
