Terry and I will be starting tomorrow. Feel free to join! Can't wait to read this. I'm not sure if it will get me in the Christmas spirit but we'll see:)

I want to read this so bad but I think I will have to wait until December as I have a few books I have on my list right now. I will look for your thread though :-)
I have read this twice now and I love it! this year, my family and I are leaving our shoes out for Krampus.
I got started and read the first two chapters. I really didn't know what I was expecting, but I'm shocked already (in a good way)! (view spoiler)
I can't believe I fell asleep reading! I'm glad I didn't buy anything while dozing....lol. I started this again this morning and I am pleasantly surprised. Very good so far.

I'm in ch6. Are you reading the kindle version of this, Addy? I'm reading the large paperback and it has illustrations that are just great, and I didn't know if the kindle version had those. The one at the start of ch6 is exceptionally cool, I think, a little like the art of Wayne Barlow
I am reading the kindle version and it does have illustrations but in black and white. Are they in color for you?
My friend just pointed out there is an episode of Supernatural featuring Krampus. Season 3, episode 8. I'm rewatching it now cause I don't remember it. Glad both of you are liking the book. I listened to the audiobook so no pictures there. My favorite part is the bar section. You'll see :D
I didn't get much reading done. I'm still on ch5. The illustrations are very cool. I wonder if he does this in all of his books. I've never seen supernatural but it sounds good latasha.
Addy wrote: "So I'm in the middle of ch6 somewhere[spoilers removed]"He certainly does not have a track record of making good choices, either.
I read this one for the first time, last year. Definitely re-read material. (One of my boys even left his shoes out for Krampus ;) ).
I just finished ch6. I'm starting to like this Krampus though im not sure if that's a good thing cuz I like santa too...lol.
It's definitely been good so far, Kimberly!I said the same thing, Addy! i keep expecting to get to the other side of the story at some point.
I can't believe Jesse had the guts to make a run for it!! He better hope he doesn't run into Krampus again!
I agree with you there but if Krampus were to help him, maybe things wouldn't have turned out so bad. I still think Krampus is going to turn Dillard into ground meat in ch9 hence the title Bloodbath...lol.
True - He definitely could use the help from Krampus. He's going up against pretty steep odds on his own.

Did you get to part when Krampus went to the Meth house. I really felt bad for Krampus and for us. Sometimes humans don't understand the deep pain they can inflict on each other.

Haven't made it to that part yet, but enjoying it so far. I agree with what you said, too.
Does your version have a bunch of illustrations of the characters at the start of ch10? Santa Clause sure looks like a real badass and Jesse looks nothing like I pictured him!
Addy wrote: "Mine only has one picture. Krampus sitting atop a push wagon. No fair...lol."The print version has some incredible artwork!
