All Things Happy Read-a-thon discussion

This is a group that I have decided to create to get the read-a-thon idea I have on the go. I'm still planning the finer points of it, but here are the basics:

- The name of the read-a-thon is 'All Things Happy Read-a-thon'.
- The point of this read-a-thon is to read books that has the potential to make you feel good/happy or that takes you/makes you think of your happy place, or books that make you feel content or relaxed.
- No rush is necessary!
- For now, the read-a-thon is going to take place over two days, most probably a weekend, so that I can give my full attention to it.
- I plan on for this read-a-thon to take place twice a year for now, though I might plan on doing it more later.
- I'm hoping to kick this read-a-thon off in 2017, since the plans are still in the works.
- There will be the option of challenges and questions if anyone would like to participate in those.
- Those that plan on participating will be given the option of becoming a permanent participant (with the option of opting-out at any stage), or being a temporary participant, to see if they would like to participate in the future.

This is a small peek into what this read-a-thon is about and the plans that are currently in the works. I will be keeping everyone updated as I progress with my plans, though if anyone is interested in participating, you are more than welcome to let me know in the comments below, since I will be adding more updates later.

That's perfectly fine. If you haven't filled in the sign up form for this read-a-thon, there will be an opportunity to sign up with the next one. I will keep you guys up to date as to when the next one will happen. ; ) I've also been quite busy this side, so I'm actually quite surprised that I managed to somehow pull this read-a-thon off, haha! : D

I'm definitely going to be doing that with the next read-a-thon. I did plan it out, but then I didn't end up using it for this read-a-thon.

This is another update. In between the read-a-thons that I will be hosting, I'll also be posting various updates on other things going on in the reading/bookish world; and these updates will be taking place on Twitter and Facebook, just to keep the social networks going while there isn't a read-a-thon going on from 'All Things Happy Read-a-thon'.
