What do you think? Will Eragon and Arya end up together in the end, or will Eragon just have to suffer?

i actually don't want them to end up together. i don't really like Arya. so no i don't think they'll end up together
at the end of Brisingr Arya seemed to be liking him more, so I expect some sort of relationship romancy. *crosses fingers*
I was crossing my fingers too, but then I went back and read that Eragon is supposed to leave forever. How is that going to work out? Anything could happen though.
oh... that sounds familiar... crap! I need to re-read the books! I still think they should be together though. xD
I don't think he will die. Here is part of the prophecy from the book."...But the rest awaits in a great journey. Look closely at this bone. You can see how its end rests on that of the sailing ship. That is impossible to misunderstand. Your fate will be to leave this land forever. Where you will end up I know not but you will never again stand in Alagaësia. This is inescapable. It will come to pass even if you try to avoid it..."
I don't know if Arya with go with him. I think she has a bigger part to play than being Eragon's romance figure. Maybe she will be the last rider. I think it will be her or Nasuada.
Alagaësia cannot be the only part of the world in the Inheritance Cycle, I bet e just leaves to someplace and decides he doeskin need to go back or was banished. I also have this theory that outside of Alagaësia where there are hundreds of more dragon riders that just haven't discovered Alagaësia yet.
that's what I was thinking because it isn't possible to kill everyone of one species in a world if you haven't even been in every part of the world
Ok. Here is a map.http://www.alagaesia.com/alagaesia.htm
That is good thinking Lolo. I never realized that there was more territory to cover. You'd think dragon riding would be a world-wide thing. There must be more dragons somewhere.
Alagaesia has lots of countries hear I'll name some the elf's then there is two human countries, the evil king and the other one that is helping the Varden. Alagaesaia it's a continent not country.
actually Alagaesaia is a country isn't it? i was under the impression that's where Galbatroix is king of and then there is Surda and the Varden in the mountains, and then the elves in Du Weldenvarde. otherwise what is Galby's country named?? but yeah if you look there's lots more land across the desert and they said the elves came from across the sea or maybe that was humans? now i'm getting confused with Lord of the Rings where the Elves all leave on teh boats like they can never come back...
lolz. I think it might be a continent w/ a bunch of countries and un-claimed land. I think that makes the most sense. but I could be wrong. xD
Naomi wrote: "lolz. I think it might be a continent w/ a bunch of countries and un-claimed land. Naomi wrote: "huh?"we name landmasses continents and we name areas controlled by people countries and so on. but they may not use any of those classifications
oh! thats true. though I think some of them are called...crap! I can't remember. something like a country...
Naomi wrote: "oh! thats true. though I think some of them are called...crap! I can't remember. something like a country..."tell me when you remember
arya still needs to grow up from faolin. she stills thinks too much about him. but everytime arya and eragon are together eragon is flirting with her while she just wants a friend.
If they get togeather I'll be angry! 1. Arya was in love with someone else, which is implied in the most reasont book...she isn't ready to move on yet! 2. it's the most retarded EVER love couple. 3, how much more like lord of the rings does this guy want to make this book? I mean he's already copied Star Wars pretty bad...
she was in love with freluen or whatever that guys name was. he's has that picture above her mantle. and made the flower for her. but he died when she was attacked by durza. i think. speculation, he doesn't actually confirm it but i think that's what's going on.
well as much can be seen uptil now eragon has failed in charming arya as all his courting has just resulted in arya becoming more distant from him. but it would be great to have a romance but i kind of dont want love and stuff to come in the way of action and thrill!!
yeah i don't think Arya'll end up with Eragon.Isn't she supposed to be older?
Not that age is a barrier but I think she doesn't actually see him as a GUY. Ermm, MAN.
I agree with most of what everybody is saying however, there is a part in the the third book where Ergaon and Arya are camping on there way to the varden. This is the first time Arya really opens up to eragon and when he makes her the rose she accepts it even though it stood for more than just friendship.
Actually he gives her a lily type flower not a rose and also I know this is off topic I think that Katrina will discover magic after she gives birth to her baby, and I am neutral bout Eragon+Arya thing it would be great if they do get together but it wouldn't last cause like you guys said she was already in love before and also in the book it says that the elves take on many mates but they aren't really mates cause they dont have children together and if they do it is the greatest commitment they can give each other cause remember elven children are really rare in the series there are only two elven chidren throughout the whole series
I think that christopher paolini is going to have arya die, and the princess from the prophecy is nasuada, and thats who eragon will marry
Or else Nasuada dies and Eragon takes over and , I know that everyone wants Galbatorix to die and thins is a new speculation I came up with and I don't like it as much as you do prob, but the Varden start to lose the war and Eragon decides to lead the Varden to a different land so that they can start anew and also all the elves leave with them so then Arya would be with him and he would be leaving Alagaesia for good which would fall in with his prophecy from Angela
None of the books up until this point have said anything about Nasuada being from royalty. Although we know little about her past, so this could be something Paolini could add in the next one. After thinking about it, I think Paolini wants the reader to think it is Arya and then surprise everyone with someone else, but if this is the case there has been no hints from any of the books so I don’t know if he will do this or not.
Yeah though I hate the part where Galbatorix lives in my theory and I think it was a good one too :) and being royal doesn't mean that she has to be royal by blood Nasuada is kind of technically royal since her father was the previous leader of the Varden and now she is the leader of the Varden but I still think that Chris isn't going to hook up Eragon and Nasuada he wood have alot of disappointed fans who were expecting Eragon and Arya together and usually the author writes what the fans want
Oh but technically royal isn't really the same as having royal blood, is it?I'm just on the Arya + Eragon team, no offense.
Yeah I know I am just saying that there is different way of being royal like a royal pain lol JK but yeah I am all for Arya and Eragon
I think the theory is interesting and it would be a twist because so many fans kinda expect Eragon and Arya to end up together but I think I think it should be a stretch for Paolini to make the prophecy about Nasuada.
