Everything by "Lady" GagGag and Justin(e) Beaver as well as all NWA songs and Alice Cooper's rendition of Santa Claus is Coming to Town: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=In3sA...I love Cooper under normal circumstances, but this is just (bleeping) mega creepy.
This time of year, its that insipid 'So This Is Christmas' by John Lennon and equally insipid 'Wonderful Christmas Time' by Paul McCartney. All rap music (Sorry, that's an oxymoron. Rap is not music. It's noise with a beat.).
Anything by Julian Lennon.
Frank Zappa's Bobby Brown, I detest this song with a vengeance ! And of course some of the typically British daft Christmas songs !

I rarely listen to the radio these days and, when I do, it's either country or 60's oldies.

Absolutely! Can't stand rap or hip-hop.
Anything by Taylor Swift or Coldplay. Also I really can't stand male country singers. I don't know why?!?
Most of what's on pop radio today, it's manufactured artists, who have teams of people behind them, most of it's done on computers, twisting knobs in the studio and just garbage. One top grossing artist made 43 million, after the team around them was paid and they cleared 16 million.
This song could ruin my day if I didn't immediately change radio stations: "Cat's in the Cradle." Biggest guilt trip song for parents ever, especially for single parents. Of course there were things that took time away from my child - like making a living.
The point behind the song is that you can't be so busy MAKING a living that you FORGET TO LIVE A LIFE.

Space Cowboy - Steve Miller Band. For some reason it grates on my nerves and it is worse if it comes on while I am driving in traffic, so I will turn it off! lol
Mine is "American Pie" - someone in my family listened to that over and over and over one summer - I am sick to death of it. It was a single and I was the one that had to flip the song over when it reached the end. I am telling my age now - but it was a 45 vinyl record and only half the song fit on one side.
I hate Yellow Submarine by the Beatles. My kids used to love singing it when they were little but now when I hear it, I catch myself singing or humming it off and on all day and I know it will be stuck in my head for ages - and it's such a silly song for people to catch you singing. Grrr!
LOL
The first single I ever bought
Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep
Number one in 1969- 1970
I loved the 70's glam rock
Now I listen to 50's and 60's music and jazz !!

NPR ran a poll on their site asking people what song they would use as a punishment:

What do you think?
For me it would be any rap song, that horrible car alarm song by Whitney Houston, and music by Steve Reich or John Adams.
