Carol (carol07) | 4386 comments Last year I set a way high goal and made it. (Yay!) This year, I am going to slow it down a bit and just try for 104 books. (2 books a week should be doable...)

I don't know if it because it has been a while since I read the last Kinsey Millhone mystery, but I thought it was a little darker than her last books. I like Ann Hood, I think I have read a couple of her books.

Oh bummer! Hope the second book is better. I have to read them. Hmm second one comes out in Feb and it says the third one comes out late 2017?

Technically this is the 2nd one, but it is a prequel. I believe the next one is a sequel? Hope it is better. I REALLY liked the first one, Warm Bodies. New Hunger is a short book so it wasn't THAT painful.

I also really enjoyed Warm Bodies and loved the movie as well!

I have the first 3 audiobooks and I really need to get started on this series but now since I'm listening to the Kinsey Millhone series I think Sookie will have to wait! lol

I've found that Alan Dean Foster's novelizations are almost always good. I may need to add this one to the list since I'm a huge Star Trek fan :)

I have enjoyed them a lot, too. The cover says Gene Roddenberry wrote this, but after digging, I think it really was ADF. I think the first thing happened to Star Wars, A New Hope. Said it was by George Lucas and I think it really was written by ADF...

I mostly read it to fulfill the Z requirement for the ABC Author Challenge. I enjoyed it. It wasn't Dostoevsky, but it was fun. Kind of like a Conan the Barbarian...

It was OK. I only paid 99 Cents on Amazon for it. I think it was less than 60 pages. THAT one may be worth the read if you are planning on reading the whole series.
