Kate (hobbitqueenofasgard) | 58 comments My name is Kate. I've always been a huge bookworm. Three of my favorite books are:
1. The Screwtape Letters
2. The Rosie Project
3. The Princess Bride

I have too many favorite books to list here. Thankfully that's what goodreads is for. xD

Alejandra Castillo | 2 comments My name is Alejandra (Ale for short) and I love to read. I just concluded a self imposed goal of reading 100 books this year - my final tally was 115 :).

I like most genres with the exception of self-help and some sci-fi. My absolute love is history, especially European from all periods, though I like contemporary and Southern history. Since moving to Memphis a year ago, I have read many books on the civil war and the history of slavery. I would like to get into poetry, but I find it hard to understand.

I also have a 6-year old daughter and thru her, I have discovered the beauty of picture books. Some of my favorite ones:
1. Insterstellar Cinderella by Deborah Underwood
2. The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires
3. The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend by Dan Santat.

Shana | 2 comments Hi all!!

I'm Shana and of course am a bookworm too!! I'm a lifelong Memphian moving to Germantown about 2 years ago.

I have a 9 year old daughter and we love going to the library to pick out books. :)

Probably my top 3 books would have to be:
Room
The Chamber
Great Gatsby

I always do a reading challenge each year and this year I'm doing the pop sugar reading challenge. Looks very eclectic and fun!

Some of my favorites are King Leopold's Ghost , Replay, Hannibal, and To Kill a Mockingbird. I love history, science fiction, and scary books (weird mix).

Hello! My name is Sarah and I'm new to the library. Some of my favorite books include Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke, Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman, and the Harry Potter series. I generally read fiction, but I'm looking to break into non-fiction, so if anyone has any favorites please let me know!

Richard Powell | 3 comments Hi! Love the library and it's offerings and programs. They serve the general reader as well as local authors. Just released a book on Amazon set in Franklin City Tennessee titled "Old Age and Treachery" Local readers I am sure will recognize many settings. Be sure and visit and patronize the real ones.

Richard Powell | 3 comments I am pleased to announce that the Harvesting the Angels, the second book in the Bridge Club Series has been selected to participate in Amazon’s Kindle Scout program. Amazon will promote the book in the Scout program for the next 30 days allowing individuals to go to the site, view the excerpts, and nominate it. You may also nominate two others. If any of the books you nominate are picked in the final selection you receive a free copy. In line with this promotion I have made the first book, Old Age and Treachery , available for free on Kindle Unlimited and the paperback edition at a substantial discount. Follow the link below to the Kindle Scout site:
