I think my favorite point of view throughout these chapters is Rebecca. A lot of the time she seems more like Jane's mom than her daughter. I'm still not understanding Sam and Jane's relationship at this point in the story. The scenarios that keep happening are just ridiculous and completely out of reach.

I totally get what your saying there with Sam and Jane's relationship it doesn't seem right. I feel getting a glimpse of how Jane and Rebecca did there travel to meet up with there uncle was kind of interesting to read. Who in there right mind would drive a station wagon through a field to get to a gas station? I know i wouldn't have. I think them getting the car was good. Hopefully now they don't have to worry about Oliver trying to find them with the station wagon.

Yes a new car should definitely throw Oliver off! And omg that scene of driving through the grass was just insane!!
