Kate | 1 comments Do you have any recommendations for non-fiction books for first graders? I'm interested in books that they can read independently and that would be engaging for read alouds. Thanks!

Chelsey Cosh (chelseycosh) | 3 comments The "who is" and "what are" collection are popular? If they're accelerated readers, these books will work. What are their interests? Any themes? Guinness Book of World Records are technically NF, and always popular as well as being highly visual. I find that the 000s actually are filled with non-fiction that works well with younger ones because it is so general.
