Devin Hampton | 12 comments When Quinn finally gets off of her assignment, so is told to go to her boss Marie’s apartment. When she gets there though, nobody is there and the apartment is different than normal, less personalized (372). She walks around trying to figure out what is going on, but then she sees a file with her name on it (373). She opens the file and looks through it, seeing things she doesn’t remember and has never seen before (373). She keeps looking through the file and then she notices she’s holding something unexpected, her death certificate (374). Quinn doesn’t know what to think of this and panics and starts looking around more and finds a video that goes along with her case and watches it, finding out that she is a closer for the real Quinlan McKee (378). Quinn has always felt like she has nobody here for her, but at this point, she feels that her whole life is a lie and there is nobody truly there for her, not even her father, who isn’t even her real father. It was a great point of the story for the author to add because everything in the story was going pretty good for Quinn at this point, but then she finds out that it is not even her life she is living and she is actually a closer for a closer. This point really opens up the story to make another book, which the author does after this one and leads it into why this book was written, which is because it is a prequel for The Program.

Olivia Barnes | 9 comments Wow sounds like it took a turn. So since Quinn is supposed to be helping people cope with suicides, if the death certificate fake? How would she be able to do her job if she is dead?

Ally Dusanek | 8 comments I just read the program and I am really shocked Quinn or any of the other characters are not in my book, I would assume someone would reappear. Maybe the point of the program started out being a preparation to become a closer. The program makes you forget everything and maybe, you go into this Pre-Program and they make you forget everything and then you will take someone's life, perhaps people became afraid and this is what started the suicide epidemic in my book. I think I will eventually have to read this book as well!
