I enjoyed the first book, liked the second book and didn't even finish the last book. I couldn't stand Tobias and Tris in the third book. I delt with them in the second book, just cause I wanted to finish the series, like a good little reader but I kinda found Tris annoying.
I'm on the same page as you. I enjoyed the books when I read them the first time (except for that awful excuse for a conclusion) but when I reread them recently I cringed pretty dang hard at their personalities.

You're not alone. They are angsty beyond belief and fight for really dumb reasons. I'm warning you, it gets worse in Allegiant

Still reading it though, but sadly I loved the first one and Insurgent is now tainting my views on the series. Probably going to finish the book then finish the Peregrines series
I don't like either tris or Tobias and I was bored this entire book tbh
I don't really like the series in general, but Insurgent is definitely my least favorite in the series due to its boring plot, irritable characters, and unhealthy romance.
I thought it was pretty good. Not my most favorite though
I've read Divergent, and liked it. Insurgent, I've tried to get into it 3 times without success. Gonna give it another go here soon.
i couldn't put divergent down but insurgent was a dnf for me
I agree with most of you that Divergent was amazing but Insurgent was a let down. My biggest problem is how much the book revolves around romance. And Megan, I agree that it had too much romance
Insurgent wasn't as good as Divergent, but I still really enjoyed it. I suffer from PTSD so I related a lot to Tris' PTSD and her response to trauma
Am I alone when I say that I don't really like Tris OR Tobias? I find them a little annoying in this book and almost dont feel like continuing. (view spoiler)[Yes, I know Tris dies (hide spoiler)] Anyone else feel the same?
