I watched X-2 today. :3 SO GOOD. Magneto, man. Breaks mah heart. AND NIGHTCRAWLER, HNNNNNNNNNNG!
Can't wait to watch First Class.

Whaaat, really? D:
We're going to a conference this weekend; I'm getting out 2 and 3 to watch on the road. ^_^
So it goes X-Men, X-2, The Last Stand, and then First Class & Days of Future Past? And then Wolverine is somewhere in there . . . ?

Yeah, I need to see this film in theatres."
That admittedly does look incredibly awesome.

And yes, Cyclops is great. X-3 sucked.
DoFP IS SERIOUSLY SO GOOD.
Maaaaaaybe I just really like young Xavier (James McAvoy)...but mostly I think it's because the stories for First Class and DoFP are so good and the acting is wonderful. Oh, and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique!!

I agree. Quicksilver was absolutely great for comic relief in a rather intense movie.

Well, the first one was made in 2000, and movies were generally shorter then. And I think the first one was amazing because it changed how people looked at comic book movies. This film came before even Spiderman, so it was a pioneer. The first film accomplished a difficult task - setting up the premise of the X-Men for future films, and helping people to understand it.
The second one was also extremely good, because it took the ideas of the first and built upon them. Wolverine's backstory, the uneasy alliance with Magneto, NIGHTCRAWLER HNNNNNNNG, the struggles between humanity and mutants, Stryker's bitterness, and yeah... much good.
I think we all agree that the third one was crap, though. XD It was a different director, and the new director was just obnoxious and unskilled.

That was a pretty cool scene, I'll admit. Especially in 3D. :)
