My goal again this year is to read a book each week - that's 52 books in a year. I've had this goal for probably 6 or 8 years now, and am getting further away from reaching it all the time!!
This year I have a little better plan. I'd like to read one of each of these each month: 1 classic 1 Christian non-fiction 1 fiction (hopefully Christian, possibly YA or kids) 1 growth non-fiction, such as for business or parenting, etc.
That'll end up as 48 books, so I have wiggle room with 4 either FUN books, or a sneaky review here and there. My goal is still the 52 books, but this gives me more of an outline for reaching that arbitrary goal.
I'm also going to read the entire New Testament through this year. That study will be on my Facebook group!
My plan is always to NOT count kid books, but I usually end up having to count them anyway.
I want to read the Beth Moore books I got free on kindle a few years ago. I want to re-read the Left Behind Series; the first 9 or 10 books will be re-reads but I never got to finish the series!
January 1. The Importance of Being Earnest 2. Dutch Sheets - Angel Armies: Releasing the Warriors of Heaven 3. Left Behind bk 1 4. Gary Chapman - The Marriage You've Always Wanted
February 1. Victor Hugo - Les Mis (this author shares my birthday, this month) 2. 3. Left Behind bk 2 - Tribulation 4.
