Victoria | saiditallbefore I'm going to try and do this in 2017! Wish me luck!!!

(Maybe I'll finally see the floor under my nightstand again)

Victoria | saiditallbefore Off to a slow start, but hey, anything is good.

1) The Lark and the Wren, by Mercedes Lackey. Not the best fantasy novel I’ve ever read, but it was exactly what I wanted in a Lackey novel.

Victoria | saiditallbefore 2) The Elvenbane, by Andre Norton and Mercedes Lackey. More comfort fantasy.

Victoria | saiditallbefore 3) Joust, by Mercedes Lackey. There’s a bit of a theme in the books I’m clearing off my TBR list this month...

Victoria | saiditallbefore 4) A History of Glitter and Blood, by Hannah Moscowitz. This was an impulse purchase last year because it was on sale. It was good, but weird. Very weird.

Victoria | saiditallbefore 5) Back to Mercedes Lackey with By the Sword. One of the few Valdemar books I’ve read, and it was pretty excellent.

Victoria | saiditallbefore 6) It’s the year of clearing out my Mercedes Lackey list. This time I read The Robin & The Kestrel, the sequel to The Lark and the Wren, which I read earlier in the year.

Victoria | saiditallbefore 7) Arrows of the Queen, by Mercedes Lackey.

Victoria | saiditallbefore 8) The Reluctant Widow, by Georgette Heyer. Not my favorite Heyer I’ve ever read; I wasn’t a fan of the hero’s overbearing personality.

Good luck, Victoria. Only 4 more to go. 📚📘

Victoria | saiditallbefore 9) Take This Bread: A Radical Conversion, by Sara Miles. A great memoir about Sara’s faith.

Victoria | saiditallbefore 10) Bread & Butter: The Murders of Polly Frisch, a nonfiction historical true crime account.

Victoria | saiditallbefore 11) Station Eleven, by Emily St. John Mandel. It wasn't what I'd imagined, but I liked it a lot. I wish it had focused more on Kiersten though.
