Absolutely counts! And that stinks! That's only happened to me like 2 times, where there were pages missing. I remember once when I was a teen!

Yes I imagine it would be. Now that I have read the book, the movie is going OFF my list. Thank you but NO. WOW.

WOW."I really liked both the movie and the book (FWIW, the movie makes significant changes, especially to the ending). All of Roald Dahl's books are weird, dark and more than a little bit creepy :D I watched the movie first as a young 'un, so when I got around to reading the book I remember my jaw dropping at the ending, LOL! But, the more I thought about it, the more I liked it.
I had one that I was going to use for here, but ended up having to buy it in the kindle. The print was SOOOOOOOOO tiny. I owned the book, but am giving it to a friend with better eyes than I and going forward will only buy that series on the kindle. :-( I currently have like 4 going on the Kindle so it will be awhile before I post here again apparently! LOL Hope everyone's shelf cleaning is going stupendously!!! :-)

I have kept the movie on my TBW list [even though I am frightened LOL] and we will see if I ever do watch it. Roald Dahl is indeed creepy and weird and delightful. There are so many of his that I really loved.
