I'm pledging 10 to start. Hopefully will end up changing that up to at least 25. Plan on really getting more into the In Death series.
Oh, if you start the In Death series and like it, you're gonna read more than 25:) Especially with how fast you read!

Ended up putting them on the back burner because I decided to focus on Mercy Thompson/Alpha & Omega first since it was fewer books.
I'm reading 25 this year. Hope I set up shelf correctly ? I got a set of 5 books of group Calhoun sisters for Christmas to start the year.
I finished read my first of the year Nora's book I will read the next book in the macgregor series next
I read 20 last year. This year I'm only starting out with 5. I'll probably end up doing more but I'm trying to get through a ton of series first.

I can't believe I finished last night my 5th Nora Roberts book this year. It was only possible because I three of the In Death books from my online library were available at that time and I got myself the Time of Death novella-collection for Christmas since the novellas are not translated into German and my library can't get those (licence stuff).
The next in the series I was even able to get used from my local library and I hope to read it (and the next novella) in February - if I'm lucky enough perhaps I can even get the next one from the library soon after that :-)
I'm caught up with the In Death series; going to read the one, "Echoes in Death", soon. I am currently reading "Born in Ice" in the Born trilogy, then going on the Calhoun sisters series. I have read Cousin O'Dwyer trilogy, Guardian's, Sign of Seven, Three Sisters, Circle, Gallaghers of Ardmore, Bridal Quartet, Heart's Victory, Carnal Innocence, Collector, Three Fates, and Born in Fire.
just finished Carnal Innocenceand finished The MacGregors Collection: Volume 1
that is two of 30 for nora's books for this year. I also have stars of fortune that I am working on and several others of hers that I need to read.
I finished Untamed last night and started Tonight and Always today. My goal for the year is 35 and I've already read 9.
Can't believe we're already 1/3rd done with 2017 and I finished my first Nora Roberts book of this year just last night...I have so much catching up to do! Bay of Sighs done, now onto Island of Glass :)

Here's how the challenge tool works:
1. You can find the challenge here or on the group home page.
2. After selecting the challenge, complete the information requested, including the number of Nora/J. D. Robb books you plan to complete in 2017 (Jan-Dec). Where it asks for a shelf name, type in your profile name. Save the information.
3. Go to your shelf and edit "bookshelves." Type in "2017-nora" (without the quotes) and then select "Add." This will be the shelf you'll use to track your progress (more to come). If you'd prefer another shelf name, feel free to create your own.
4. Return to the group home page and select "update my entry" and add the shelf name EXACTLY as follows, including the hyphen and lower case: 2017-nora (If you created a different name, enter it here. Be sure to use lower case and the hyphen.)
5. Click "Save."
6. You've now entered the challenge!
Now, how do you track your series progress?
Whenever you finish listening to a Nora/J. D. Robb book, add that book to your 2017-nora shelf. It will automatically be included in the challenge results. You'll need to go back and add all your January reads to this shelf. (It also has to be in "read" status with a 2017 date completed.)
Books you may have started at the end of December 2016 but finished reading in January should be included in your totals.
We hope everyone will join!
