This will be the fourth year that I'll be attempting 100 books in a year. It was very very tough last year as my mum sadly passed away. She was an avid reader throughout her life and I'm glad I now share her enthusiasm.

So sorry to hear about your mum, Jamie. But I wish you luck with your challenge this year, I think it's lovely you both shared a passion for reading and you have a way of remembering her.

I thought it might have been more interesting or funny or both 3/5
10) The Loney by Andrew Michael HurleyTotal Pages 4579
Well written but I didn't quite get the ending. 3/5

I wouldn't say that it was an enjoyable read. Just about a 3/5.
12) The Last Days of Leda Grey by Essie FoxTotal Pages 5201
The idea of the book based around silent cinema was excellent but I really didn't enjoy the story. 2/5

I did enjoy it but can't justify giving it 4 stars. 3/5
19) The Vegetarian by Han KangTotal Pages 7792
I was surprised at how provocative it was. A good read none the less. 4/5
22) At the Edge of the Orchard by Tracy ChevalierTotal pages 8832

I didn't enjoy this final part of the trilogy as much as the first two. 3/5
