So glad you went to one book a month. I'm going to try to read this as I do own the book but not this week as I already had my books planned for the week. See you sometime in the month. Also need to finish heartless ugh!
So far I'm really enjoying this. I know this is set in present decade but feels like it's set in the past. Between 60s - 70s (choice of music and ponytail for Daniel). I really like the characters they are very real and interesting and I love the diversity. Can't wait to read more. I'm glad the girl got busted for stealing without the help of Natasha.
I struggled with the first 70 pages of this book. I found it irritating to flip between characters. I did decide to stick with it though.
I totally feel you on the different decade. This feels like it definitely could be in the 70s or 80s. I enjoyed the first section and getting to know our characters and where they're coming from and their families history.
I love the little snippets about the peripheral characters and quick chapters. Nicola Yoon is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I love her writing style.
