I'm really happy today. It's snowing, everything is white. My daughters went to school sledding. They were so happy! I was supposed to go to the physiotherapist but it's quite impossible, so I'm going to correct my students' academic dissertation on design, read a little bit, drink a cup of coffee.

Because I suffer from fibromyalgia, muscle pain. I was infected by a virus in December 2015 and since then, it's been quite hard for my poor body!
My body aches, especially my arms and my hips. But I'm happy, I'm going to have a great breakfast with my daughters and then I'm going to work with amazing students and after that it's the weekend!
Sorry to hear you have such muscle pain, Martin. :(I'm feeling good although a bit headachey. It's snowing and I'm going to continue reading Great Expectations. I adore the book!
I had such a great time at work today! My students in MA were presenting their projects to their Applied Arts teachers and there was an exhibition of what they produced so far. It was awesome: they are so creative and innovative. And it's only the beginning, they still have to develop and go further!
I'm feeling stressed. :( Got a new job and a new house. which is awesome. My girlfriend calls me this morning and tells me that our bills are higher then what we expected, issues are happening in our new place. I have to work 50+ hours next week now while trying to pack my old place. I'm moving in 2 weeks and I'm just stressed. I have come to hate this move.

Aw poor you, Sarah. Moving is one of the most stressful events in your life. You will survive though! Everything will be all right :)
Feeling a bit sad and guilty today after having to cut my darling guinea pigs toenails and being peed over me during the process. It stresses them out so much, but it has to be done for their own good. Gonna give them lots of treats today to ease my guilty conscience. ;-)
Sarah, hope the move settles a bit for you. Congrats on the new job though. At the moment I'm content, one of those rare moments in our house where it is quiet. And hungry, somehow I have forgotten to eat today.
Feeling a little groggy and on my second cup of coffee. I slept in very late this morning. Not sure why. Hoping I'll perk up soon.Happy Sunday!

Hi everyone!
Karin, hope you feel better! I'm feeling overwhelmed by work! Too much students' paper to correct and too much meetings to attend! Trying to keep organized!
How do you do Aaron?
Tuesday again. My least favorite day of the week. Will battle through it with writing, reading, coffee and good music! How is everyone today?
Hi All.Wed. have so many things to do! .Just want to sit down and read my current book . I am trying to go through my books and give many to the library.
Don't really want to give away any!
Anyone feel the same?
I can relate Elizabeth. I have a hard time parting with my books even though I rarely ever read a book more than once. I have a bunch stored in the attic. I primarily read e-books now, so that solves some of the problem.
Hi everyone! I'm really tired! It's 9pm, I had a long day of work.I completely understand what you feel girls! I LOVE my books and my bookshelves! My husband often asks me to sell them so we could have more space... No way!
I have so much to do on the computer today. (business stuff)I just want to play games and have fun! Feeling the same?
Feeling the same Elizabeth! I have to complete my students report for the first semester and I just want to read and chat on GR!
Exciting!! I'm moving in with my girlfriend today. We have been together for 2 years and have been through so much. I'm so excited for this step with her. <3
Hi everyone! I'm happy today. I spent a super great day! I went shopping. I had to buy presents for my daughters' birthday. And I love doing that, thinking and imagining how they will react when discovering what I bought for them. I also went to the bookstore and bought 5 books for me!
I hope you got used to your phone Elizabeth!I'm not feeling well this weekend so I'm enjoying some easy reading with a cup of green tea.
Hope you feel better soon Karin! Hope you have deciphered the code to use your phone Elizabeth! (here I'm influenced by the book I'm reading!)
I'm making waffles to eat with a cup of hot chocolate or eggnog... :-P
oooh hot chocolate...yum! Which books did you buy a couple of days ago and which one are you going to read first, Martin?
I bought books for a challenge based on Black History Month: -Selected Poems by Langston Hughes (that I've already started reading -aloud)
-Dreams from my Father by Barack Obama
-Black Like Me by John Howard Griffin
And other books : Lost of Words by Edward St Aubry ; The Star Rover by Jack London and Martin Eden by Jack London (a gift for one of my friends).
So I'm reading the poems and I will probably start Black Like Me tonight.
You are not alone, Elizabeth. It's a mad world. I try to escape from it by reading fantasy. There are wonderful fictional worlds out there.
I'm slowly getting better, but still very tired. I just finished Tess of the d'urbervilles which left me with a dagger through my heart. But I'm OK. I'm OK. I will try not to cry. ;-)
I'm happy! It's the weekend! Happy weekend everyone! It's my daughters' birthday on Sunday! Can't wait to give them their pressies!
