Fiiinally finished The Family Crucible. Now that I'm almost caught up on The Walking Dead (show, not comic books), I should have more time to focus on reading. I've been working on Assassin's Apprentice for some time now, so that's next to complete.Progress: 1/12
Just finished Assassin's Apprentice (woo!). Next on the list is The Wounded Heart: Hope for Adult Victims of Childhood Sexual Abuse, which I got for school about 5 years ago and am finally getting around to reading it. Not an easy topic, which is probably why I've avoided it until now. Happy Reading!Progress: 2/12
We're nearing the end of the year, so I suppose I should update this, as it's been severely neglected thus far. I gave up on The Wounded Heart pretty fast, because it's more religious than I remembered, and I just couldn't. I didn't do much with my TBR for a while, but over the past couple months, I've made some decent progress on it.Completed:
- Wuthering Heights
- Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock
- Mistborn
- The Bourne Identity
- The Bourne Supremacy
- A Little Something Different
- Aesop's Fables
Currently Reading:
- The Rithmatist
I'm cheating a bit; the only time I have for "reading" (read: listening to audiobooks) is while I'm driving (I drive a lot for work. A LOT.), but as long as I'm able to cross them off my list and clean up my bookshelf, I'm happy.
Progress: 9/12
Yesterday, I also started Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff...And It’s All Small Stuff. I didn’t pick this one up for a long time, because it sounded suuuuper cheesy. And frustrating. But I’m actually really enjoying its wisdom while driving to see clients. It’s all stuff I’ve heard before, but it’s a good reminder. I can see a lot of my clients finding it helpful.Progress is still at 9/12.
Okay, I think I'm done for the year. Here's my last update:- Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff…And It’s All Small Stuff
- The Call of the Wild
- The Rithmatist
- The Bourne Ultimatum
Total formerly TBR books read: 13! Wooo!
