Your not alone and I agree. I have a Facebook page but I don't use it half as much as I do Twitter. I know how Facebook's algorithms work and they don't benefit the person as much they do the company. I ran an ad once back when I first started to gain likes for the page, haven't used it sense because I'm afraid I'll end up doing what happened to you. You get likes, you get notoriety but the whole reason you run an ad which is for sales and do you get them? No. It's a gamble and I'm not a gambling man..especially when it comes to eating money from Facebook. I suppose I'll run an ad for sales eventually but not before I examine every possible outcome.

And yeah do keep us updated. More people need to know about Facebooks ads before running in blind.
