Can I make a PJO character?
The names were used solely as references, the events in the books hold no ground here. So no. And no other references to the books should be made in role play(talk of Camp Half Blood or the Titan War, etc).

Do I have to request to have a certain god as my parent?
For the most part, no. But big and powerful gods - like the Big Three - must be claimed in the Big Demigods On Campus thread. If a god or goddess is depicted as virginal in myth, you should probably make sure the member who claimed the god is allowing children to be born and how they are born(Athena's brain children, Artemis' blooms from nocturnal flowers, Hestia's come from the dying embers of a hearth). Godlings must get approval from both divine parents to be made.

What if I want to make a demigod son of Cerberus or something along those lines? A child of a monster? What about a child of a god and a monster?
Unless the 'monster' in question is a nymph or elf, the answer is no. No 'demi-monster' offspring of Fenrir or things of that nature. Nymphs and gods result in cyclopes, and dwarves were frequent lovers of Freyja in return for jewelry. Sorry. Satyr-esque godlings, like Pan, can be born, but nothing too extreme or too monster-like. subject to change

Can you elaborate on legacies?
Legacies are listed here so we can keep track of them. What god they are the legacy of and how many generations displaced: grandson, great-grandson, or alternatively, 3 generations descendant, fourth generation descendant, etc, is needed to be stated. The further away they are, the less powers from that god they have, though a certain powerful power can become hereditary and be the only vestigial power(e.g. Frank Zhang and his shapeshifting ability through Poseidon's son Periclymenus). Being a legacy of a god on one side of the family and being a demigod(having a godly parent) can strengthen powers if they sync up/are connected, or by being a legacy of two gods of similar spheres of rule(my Jupiter/Thor legacy has a powerful form of electrokinesis and weather manipulation because of this). Each member currently has 3 mixed legacy claims(meaning mixed pantheon, if the legacy is of different gods of the SAME pantheon, it does not take up one of the 3 claims). Being a child of two demigod parents makes the child technically a full-blown demigod, making their scent strong as a demigod's, drawing monsters towards them more frequently than more mortal legacies, whose scent isn't as potent or strong. More mortal legacies(i.e. not a demigod and a legacy) have at least one power, though may or may not have dyslexia and ADHD or naturally understand Greek/Roman/Egyptian Hieroglyphs/Old Norse because of their weak connection to the gods. They still can ingest magical food and drink.

Demititans? Demiprotogenos?
Offspring of Titans would be much more common than a demigod of a primordial god from any pantheon, though Titan children would be rare in and of themselves. Demigods of the Protogenoi and other primordials would have to be requested with a role play example here whereas demititans can be made without a request or claim.

Multiple aspect gods: are the kids of a certain aspect or the god as a whole?
This varies. As with the Morrigan, her children can be of the Morrigan as a whole, or one of her individual aspects. Same goes for Amun-Ra and his various forms he takes during his passage across the sky and through the Duat. Though the children of the gods as a whole would probably be more common, though I guess that is truly up to how many the members make.

There are more primordials than there are moderators, what gives?
Once every moderation has made a primordial, the primordial gods can be claimed. One must submit a written role play example to obtain them. Remember, they can't have many demigod children.

I don't mind ether way. I usually use real but sometimes fanart so I'm inclined to go with both

I kinda really hate it when someone just throws in a single picture of an anime girl and you know you just fucking know they just googled something like "hot anime girls" and clicked on the second one

^ which is why I typically don't do that UNLESS the group is focused on things involving fan art, such as anime, yokai('cause there's some bomb ass kitsune art out there, Ahri anyone) or creepypasta/monster based.

That's literally my only problem with it
