Avery sighed as the light brought them to a quaint home. It actually wasn't what she was expecting his house to look like but today seemed to be full of surprises.
Avery rushed after him quickly and walked inside. It truly was a beautiful home but she shouldn't be focusing on that, his usher needed her.
"What can I do?"
"What can I do?"
Avery knelt on the floor by the couch and helped the girl in a position so she was sitting. She then searched the house for the required items he told her to find and, after minutes of looking, she found both and handed them to Vincent.
Avery nodded and walked over to a sink. Squeezing it so it was suitable for his needs, she handed it back to him.
Unsure if the gratitude was directed at her or his sister, for whatever reason, Avery took a step back and sat on the floor near the couch.
She did say, "Your welcome," just in case.
She did say, "Your welcome," just in case.
Avery sighed, having a feeling that he would say that, but she didn't move.
"What about your sister?" She asked softly. "She might wake up and may need more help."
"What about your sister?" She asked softly. "She might wake up and may need more help."
"I don't care about your thanks," Avery snapped then sighed. "Sorry. I just want to make sure she'll be alright."
"I am waiting for her to get better, Vincent," Avery said grimly. "And I won't leave until she does."
Avery protested as he made his way to the door and then found contact with her knee onto his chest. She plunged into it, making him fall, and ran back towards Celia.
She looked back at Vincent and hissed, "I'm. Not. Leaving."
She looked back at Vincent and hissed, "I'm. Not. Leaving."
"And who's gonna help you?" Avery asked, crossing her arms, and hating that he was now using telekinesis. "Your other sister may not be able to help you as much and may get tired easily. But I can, I want to."
Avery grumbled and used telekinesis to lift him in the air and stay like that. "If I let you go, will you please just let me help?"
Avery stood there, completely frozen then came back to life and asked, "Do you want your sister dead?"
"No, I don't," Avery said. "If you don't want her to die from an illness that is obviously hurting her, let me help. I wasn't planning on hurting her by the way. I wouldn't dream of it. Because she seems a lot nicer than you."
Avery looked over her shoulder, making sure Vincent was gone, then began to stroke his sister's hair.
"How are you feeling? Would you like anything?"
"How are you feeling? Would you like anything?"
Avery stiffened slightly but relaxed ever so, repeating the gentle rubbing. "I do remember. But let's not talk about that now."
"Right, but you're sick and I told Vincent I'd take care of you until you're better," Avery said matter-of-factly. "And the part was just a few weeks ago so the memory has slipped from my mind."
"We are not going there," Avery said gravely then stood up and fetch a kettle a filled it with water. Maybe if they had some tea packets, that would make her better.
But she did raise an interesting question: was she really Nal's girlfriend? Avery never asked and Nal never said anything. She supposed she did think she was special and maybe that was selfish on her part as well.

Avery didn't bother to look back as she placed the kettle on the stove and heated it up.
"She's fine. I expected it as soon as I walked back inside," Avery placed her hands on the counter as she turned to face him in a resting position. "After all, she is your sister."
"She's fine. I expected it as soon as I walked back inside," Avery placed her hands on the counter as she turned to face him in a resting position. "After all, she is your sister."
"I was merely saying what was true Vincent," Avery hissed. "She is your sister, is she not? And it was not intended to be an insult in the first place."
"Thank you," Avery said shortly has she reached up to grab the tea box. "Now where might be the glasses?"
Avery nodded as she was left to do her making of the tea. She took the kettle from the stove and poured warm water into two cups. One for herself and for his sister. After she placed a packet in each cup, she walked over back to the sick girl and handed her tea.
"Drink," she ordered with a smile. "Otherwise I'm afraid you'll be bedridden for a very long time."

Avery slightly frowned as she gripped her tea cup harder then she really should've.
"I'm not sure," She said, staring into the liquid. "I could always check up on you tomorrow and see how you feel."
"I'm not sure," She said, staring into the liquid. "I could always check up on you tomorrow and see how you feel."
"It's my parents," Avery muttered. "They won't let me stay at someone else's place nowadays and they won't even tell me why. Which I guess is understandable but still."
"I thought Vincent never stuck with one girl," Avery said, taking a few sips from her tea. "And I will be back to check up on you, of course."
"I get that, I really do, and no, I don't have any plans besides making sure you are taken cared of," Avery said sternly. "Unless of course you want to die from fever, which is very unlikely, or perhaps a sickness that is dwelling in your body and where is your Bottle of Youth anyway?"
"I checked my Imparter and he's busy," Avery said with a shrug. "Have you at least called Elwin or some other professional doctor?"
"I'm on steroids?" Avery asked with a raised eyebrow. "How so? I'm only trying to help. And why aren't your parents here to make sure your get better?"
"Well have you puked on the couch? That may explain why you're absolutely famished," Avery said as she stood up from her resting spot.
"And I don't believe I told you my name was slave so I'm afraid the sandwich will have to wait till you're not hallucinating," Avery said with a smile.
"I did, voluntarily," Avery said as she made her way back to the kitchen. She came back holding a bowl of grapes. "Here. Eat."
Avery studied him curiously, not really sure if she should actually go. "Are you sure? Because I can still help."
"Again with the sandwich!," Avery bursted out. "If you eat all the grapes, I'll consider making you a sandwich."
"A child acts better," Avery grumbled as she made her way, yet again, to the kitchen and fixed the sick girl a ham-like-taste and cheese sandwich. She came back, holding out a plate with the food and said, "And don't you dare say you don't care for it."
((Haha! That's right. I changed it so it tastes like ham. :D))
"I don't know," Avery looked up at the ceiling. "Your brother's not going to be feeling sick either, will he?"
"I don't know," Avery looked up at the ceiling. "Your brother's not going to be feeling sick either, will he?"
Avery laughed. "That would be expected. Now, how are you feeling? Want me to give you a dose of cherry medicine?"
"Alright," Avery nodded as she stared out a window. "I think my time's up anyway. Want me to get you something?@
"So you're sure you're the one doing this?" Avery asked. "Otherwise, your brother will kill me if it's not."
