Blue Lake Academy discussion

The Cafeteria is filled with tables and chairs with a buffet at one end that serves 24 hours a day! (For those deadlines you just have to meet)

Johanna arrived at the Cafeteria. She loved all the smells here. In books Cafeteria food always sucked, but she liked the food here. She got in line with a tray, picking out yogurt, granola, berries, milk, and a slice of pizza. She put the berries and granola on the yogurt, glancing around to see if Ingrid was there yet.

Ingrid came through another door, looking for Johanna. She spotted her and with her tray that was fully full, skipped to the paying counter where Johanna was.

"Hey," she said,greeting Johanna.

"Hey!" Johanna replied as she grabbed her student card, swiping it. "I see you're hungry like I am."

"Yup, definetely ravenous after going to Creative Arts class with all that thinking."she said,taking out her card.

Johanna smiled, "We could work on the play more later," she suggested. "After our other classes. You could come up to my dorm. I don't have a roommate so we won't be bothered."

"Sure. Let's go find a table." she looked around for one.

Johanna saw a table in the corner that was empty. "Over there," she pointed.

Ingdid walked over to the table and sat down.

Johanna took a bite of her pizza. "My room is Floor 3, Room 2," she told her with a smile. "What class do you have next? I have my one-on-one singing lesson."

"I have government class." Ingrid said, taking a fry and eating it.

"Do you have a good teacher?"

"I hope so...it's my first day." she explained

"Oh!" Johanna exclaimed. "Well, welcome to Blue Lake Academy," she said with a smile.

"Thanks!" she smiled.

Johanna checked her watch. "We should probably get going to class," she told her. She quickly crammed the rest of her food into her mouth. After swallowing, she started laughing, hoping Ingrid wouldn't find her weird for doing that. ((Switch to my dorm?))

"Yeah.Well..see you!" she shouted as she put her tray back, the rest of the food already eaten. Then she got up and walked away to class. ((Yeah!You post first!))

Tanner sat down at a table, running his hand through his brown hair. He was currently writing in a notebook, writing a new song that he was working on just for fun. He sighed as he took a sip of his water, getting back to work on the song.

Natasha walked into the lunchroom, she had gotten a tray of food and was looking for a empty table or a table with some room on it. She say a table with a boy with brown hair, "Is this spot open?" she asked in her thick russian accent

Tanner looked up at the girl and smiled. She was pretty, she used her manners, and he happened to love her accent a lot. "No. It isn't. You can sit here if you would like to." He said. Honestly, he did want somebody to sit with him, but he didn't want the food fighting crowd to sit with him.

"Thank you," she sat down and took a libretto out of her backpack. She flipped it open and began to look at the lines highlighted in blue. "What is your name?" she asked.

Tanner looked at the girl and smiled, his attention grabbing on the blue highlighter lines when she opened her book. "My name is Tanner Macmillan. What's your name?" He asked.

"Countess Natalya Ilyinichna Rostova," she says, "You must call me Natasha" She turns back to the libretto and begins to study the lines for the show she is in.

"Are you a princess or something?" He asked curiously in his British accent, closing his notebook. "I mean, it is fine if you aren't. I was just curious."

"No but, I do have royal blood you could say," She said. She went back to her libretto and reviewed her lines.

"Really? That's interesting." Tanner commented with a smile, running his hand through his hair. "I'm just ordinary Tanner." He shrugged. "Tanner Macmillan."

Aria walked into the cafeteria and looked around. It was pretty. Unlike her other school. As she looked around she saw the big kitchen. Aria couldn't wait to cook there. Just a little more practice and she'd be ready. I'm so hungry. Aria thought. Walking over to the long line of kids Aria smiled.

After waiting in line for a good 10 minutes, Aria grabbed her food. Thank you! She said. Aria walked out of the line and looked around. She couldn't find a table to sit at. As she started walking she tried to sti multiple places, but people blocked. Aria figured it was because she was new. Well where can I sit? Aria asked herself aloud.

Ashley laughed at something one of her friends had said, glancing around the cafeteria. Hey! Who was the new kid? She didn't look like she had anywhere to sit. Ashley was sitting with her cheerleading buddies.
"Hi! Over here!" Ashley called to the girl, waving her hand with a smile. "You can sit with us!" Her cheerleading buds gave her a look at the risk she was taking inviting her, but Ashley didn't care.

Oh! Aria said looking behind her. She saw a girl and she figured she was talking to her. Aria walked to the table. Hi I'm Aria. She said sitting down. Thanks for the seat.

"No problem," Ashley replied. "I'm Ashley. So, you're new here?" Some of her cheerleading buds rolled their eyes at her talking to the newbie, but continued their conversation separately.

Yeah. Aria replied. I got a scholarship. Are these your friends? She asked. The're pretty.

Ashley laughed softly, "Yes. They're all on the cheerleading squad with me. Hey! Are you interested in cheerleading? There's always room on the squad for more!"

I am! I really like cheerleading. I'm a big fan. Do you think I should sign up?

Maybe not. I like it but I'm not very good at it.

"That's fine!" Ashley told her. "We have practices regularly and a competition here and there. If you don't feel ready for a competition, you can always not compete or be there in case someone gets injured. We'd love to have you."

Really? Aria said. That's really cool. I'll sign up after I get to my dorm. Speaking of which, I should see who my roomie is. -Aria takes out her pamphlet- -She shows Ashley- Is this you? Aria asks. Yeah. Ashley said. Really? Cool. Aria says smiling.

"Yes, that's me on the pamphlet," Ashley told her, grinning. "They asked me at the start of the year to pose for the 2017 edition."

Now that must have been fun. Aria said. I'm glad I have a new school with such nice people and no bullies. I guess I will sign up. She said. -Aria takes a bite of her burger.- After she's done chewing Aria smiles. They also great food. I can't wait to get into the kitchen and test my skills. Aria says.

"The food is pretty good," Ashley agreed with a slight laugh. "I can't wait to see what you do with it." She finished her salad and wiped her mouth with her napkin.

I agree. Aria said smiling. I'll have a mentor to help me. I want to be a creative individual. Aria said smiling. Well thanks for being so nice. I have to find my dorm now.

"Alright," Ashley expressed. "I'll see you at cheer practice!" She flashed a smile.

Koa stood in the lunch line, waiting to get his food. Taco Tuesday was his favorite, next to the pizza they served on Mondays.

Anna walked in and also entered the lunch line.

Koa glanced back and gave Anna a big smile as he grabbed a soft taco with beef and cheese. They certainly had good food here. He walked over to his usual table, then paused and walked back to wait for Anna. His friends might be more accepting if they walked up together.

Anna grabbed the same thing, but without cheese, then followed him.
