Hi, I'd like to include my SF adventure "The Box of Tricks" in this review group;

I just finished the space opera review group but can I do this one too with Unfathomable Chance?https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
Thanks!

I'm Chance Mareeand I'll throw

into the ring.
Robby has reviewed a different novel of mine.
L.N. has already reviewed this novel, and my others.
Thanks!
I have a pre-release ARC and was told by the moderators that I can't join unless the book will be released by the time the review period is over. I think it's two months, that means your book must be published by the end of March (mine's not due out until early April).
I would like to enter Journey to Darkness.https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Hi Everyone,
First of all please note when you submit your book here I'd like the links to both your book and your profile page. It is very helpful to me and speeds things up a lot.
Secondly, you must be aware that there is no reciprocal reviewing within GSRG, so you need to declare if you have reviewed/been reviewed by another member of this genre group.
Thanks - and - Well Done! to "old-hand" Chance Maree for setting such a great example :-)

Yep. I've been around the block a few times.
I'm sorry! I thought I pasted both links. Here is the book link again:

L.N. has reviewed one of my books and I, therefore, cannot review theirs. They should be able to read Unfathomable Chance since they read a different of mine last time.
Hope that helps!
K.T. Munson
As Chance has already said, I think I have read every single one of her books lol. So that pairing is out of the question. I have read one of K.T. Munson's books, but not this one. I already have 'Unfathomable Chance' on my kindle from last year, which I still have to read at some point =)

Actually, I'm quite sure it was this book that I reviewed. I had also reviewed Undazzled in a previous reviewing circle, so we substituted this one. Maybe you have a third book, or would that be stretching the rules too far?
Hello, I am colin kortekaas, my book is titled Titan Lost and is the first in the Galactic Lineage trilogy. I am looking for reviewers, and this looks like the place. Thanks for the opportunity.

Thank you, G.M. and Colin. This group is meant to include only 6 members but in view of the possible reciprocal conflicts I may try and fit Colin in as well. This is because it gives me more options with setting assignments so give me a little time, folks. (And I thought chess could be complicated!).

Oh, I thought I might add, but I don't think it counts in this case...but a few months back there were a couple of flash fiction rounds that Robbie and myself were involved in...and I reviewed one of his short stories. I have a feeling that it won't have any bearing on this round, but though I should mention it =)
RECIPROCAL CONFLICT ALERT!
Hold back on exchanging books, folks! Obviously the reason for setting the start date with 2 or 3 days notice is to allow for errors, such as this and from whatever source. This gives the Mod a chance to apply a correction so if you have exchanged books too soon well that's just tough. Mistakes happen :-/
But let's see if this schedule works:-
Update: Here is the Schedule of Review Assignments.
Review Assignments will: Start on 22 Jan 2017 and End 22 Mar 2017
Round One stays the same: runs from 22 Jan to 22 Feb 2017
1. Alistair Potter reviews L.N. Denison
2. Robby Charters reviews Alistair Potter
3. K.T. Munson reviews Robby Charters
4. G.M. Whit reviews K.T. Munson
5. Chance Maree reviews G.M. Whit
6. Colin Kortekaas reviews Chance Maree
7. L.N. Denison reviews Colin Kortekaas
Round Two has changes: runs from 22 Feb to 22 Mar 2017
1. Robby reviews L.N.
2. Colin reviews Alistair
3. G.M. reviews Robby
4. Chance reviews K.T.
5. L.N. reviews G.M.
6. Alistair reviews Chance
7. K.T. reviews Colin
NOTES: Contact the authors you are scheduled to review (Links above in message 1) to arrange to receive a review copy of their work. I strongly suggest that you do not exchange email addresses through this topic stream but use the GR direct message system, to avoid scammers and co.
If you are all OK with this (and cannot see a conflict) then let the Reviewing commence on 22 January.
Please post to this topic, both when you receive review copies and when you post the reviews (with links to your review). If you are going to be late with your review, either post to this topic as soon as possible or message the author and the moderator directly.
A polite “Thank you, Reviewer Name” from the author is a pleasant way of acknowledging a review and all that is expected. I hope we all agree that it is not seemly or very professional to publicly engage in unpleasant banter or rant about one’s review.

For anyone reading my book, it is an ARC copy, which is in the process of a final edit as we speak. Only the last 4 chapters and the epilogue need work doing to them, but rest shoild be fine apart from a little tweaking.
RECIPROCAL CONFLICT ALERT!
This a copy of my message above re: assignments schedule.
Hold back on exchanging books, folks! It appears I've assigned one in error. Please give me some time to think again. Sorry about this :-( (I must get more sleep!)
Seeking the naughty step,
CORRECTIONS TO SCHEDULE APPLIED!
Hopefully this will work - fingers crossed etc.

I've already sent my book to Chance. If it is at all possible can you keep it so she reviews me for simplicity's sake? Thanks!

CORRECTIONS TO SCHEDULE APPLIED (message 21) and no-one has objected after a day. So, as I said, hopefully this will work - fingers, legs, eyes crossed! Go ahead on Sunday 22nd.

As of yet, no response from my messages to G.M. or Colin (both Round 1).I'm starting K.T.' s, which is Round 2. And have given Alistair mine (also Round 2).
I have Colin's book set on my Kindle...can't wait to read.
I will send Alistair a copy of Only the Few tomorrow, once I have formatted it. I shall send Robby a copy tomorrow as well. Just need G.M's, then I'm in business =)

Hi folks, it's probably staring me in the face, but how do I send a direct personal message to one of this group? I need to send my novel to Colin. So far folks have sent direct messages to me, but I can't see how to 'start' the dialogue myself. Thanks, Alistair.

Alistair,
THIS ALSO COPIED TO GROUP MESSAGE STREAM:
To send a PM or DM (personal or direct message) to another GR member:
1. go to your OR THEIR author profile page and look under THEIR/your "portrait" picture
2. click the down arrow V to open the menu there
3. click on "send message" and then follow your nose...
The question remains - how did you send me messages in the first place? I assume you put in my name into the "Search books" (and authors BTW) box at the top of all GR pages or maybe clicked the GR Link above?

I'm a little concerned that this review group has started but I've received zero contact from GM Whit. GM can you please message me back with an email address and what eBook version you would like so I can email it to you?
I have had to pull out of this round, but I will still be doing my allocated review. My book was nowhere near ready for this.

Due to a change in circumstances Alistair will be reviewing G.M. Whit's book in R 2 instead of L.N. Denison, who will still review Colin's book in R 1. Robby is relieved of the R 2 reviewing task since Layla has withdrawn her book from this group.

Thanks G.J =). Maybe next time. It was silly of me to try and put a WIP ARC in a review round.

Thanks for that, Robby. That is very generous of you because Alistair has agreed to review both G.M. and Chance. If you wish to message Alistair and review Chance instead of him please go ahead. If you want to review Chance as well! then I'm sure she would not object for 2 for the price of 1 :-O. However I need to know whatever you both arrange.
Keep in touch. Thanks.

GJ, the only problem with that is I've already read and reviewed two of Chance's books, including the one she's submitted for this group. It would probably have to be GM.Okay, I can see where the spanner is stuck in the works: LN is still doing her first round review despite having pulled out, making the maths all wrong. I'll just leave good-enough alone then.
Hi folks, I've actually just finished Chance's review of "Dark Matter Tiding" (though I'll leave it a day or two to 'simmer' before posting) and I am quite happy to move-on to reviewing G.M. I'll be in touch (or vice-versa) to arrange to get a hold of "Journey to Darkness".Cheers, Alistair.

Hi Alistair, if it's easier, I can read G.M's book. I have it through KU. I haven't gotten very far with Colin's due to the strange hours i've been working. I can email you the mobi file Colin sent me, save you asking =). Let me know how you wish to proceed?

In joining this review group you will have agreed to review the novels assigned to you on a two month schedule. Once the sign up phase is over then the review stage begins with a schedule of assignments set by the moderator.
The General Science Fiction peer review group will include all types of novels classified as sci-fi /space opera/apocalyptic. As with other review groups, you will be expected to read and give an honest review of the book assigned to you. Assignments will be made after the group sign-up has filled with all six places.
Participants are expected to post reviews to Goodreads and Amazons US & UK. When you have posted your reviews please post a link to them on this thread. If the Goodreads review is positive (three stars or higher), the review should be posted to Amazons US & UK at the same star level. This makes having accounts with both Goodreads and Amazon a requirement.
Please be aware of the rule about uncompleted reviews – LINK: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
It is not the purpose of this group to tell members what to write but for those unfamiliar with writing reviews try to include comments about the following:
characters; plot; narrative language; dialogue; pace; settings; theme; recommendation.
This topic will be updated with the list of authors as they sign up with their names and Goodreads links to authors and their books. First come; first served. This is an authors only peer review group.
THE AUTHORS AND BOOKS ARE:
