In this game, someone starts one line with the letter a, then the next person does the next line with b. When we get through the whole alphabet we start over. Please please try to make the poem make sense.

I'll start:

Again and again you pretend to be okay

'Cause I see the pain in your eyes

Don't keep telling me these lies

"Everything is fine," you promise me

Forgetting that I know you, forgetting I can see

Guess I still remember who you used to be

How I wish you'd still talk to me, the way it used to be

I don't know what happened

Just stop pushing me away, I'm begging now

Kind smiles don't work when I see past them

Maybe I can, please let me try

"No one can fix me," you say, but I think that's false

Please don't lie to me

Rest assured you're getting the best of me

Should I just tell you the truth instead?

Truth is: I'm getting tired. When are you going to trust?

Until I have to hug you tightly and tell you that I'm not going to leave you?

Violently thrown your demons to the side, my arms opened wide, telling you you don't have to hide?

Wishing just this time you'd listen to me

Xanax the only friend's whose advice you take for free (instead of me)

You wouldn't- said you couldn't- and everything's spiralling down

Zero pills left in the bottle - now it's too late

High spirits will keep me going

In such a crazy world

Keeping listening, hoping for faint whispers

Like I'm going to hear a voice in the wind

Moaning my name, aching for my affection

Not dying to leave when I'm tired and in pain

Opened my heart to love, only lost, not gained

part of me wants to turn and run

Queer. as the world is, just hold on

running is an option but I won't

Staying with you matters more

Together we can conquer

Until the world realizes our power
