I just finished reading this like 3 days ago... the ending left me speechless. I still have to collect my thoughts to write a review...
I haven't read it since I was in 4th grade... I was an advanced reader... But I don't remember it so ill have to reread
I read it last year and loved it. I even cried at the end when all that tragedy came. I didn't thought I was going to cry but I did. I think it was a well written book and really interesting, it was just extremely good
Laura wrote: "I love how Death was the narrator! It added a nice element to the story :)"True! I think it was unique
Is that fast or slow to you? I'm asking because it took me almost... eh 2 months ish. I think just because it was so dense.
I think it was like 9 days actually, and for me that is slow. I remember reading the last page at midnight.
Yep! I actually saw the movie while I was halfway through the book which almost ruined my experience of the book entirely! Have you?
Yes, I think it was pretty good. Though, as always, the book is far better than the movie, I think they made a good adaption of the whole book.
Yes definitely! I agree with you - they did an excellent job on the movie. Whenever I watch a movie based on a book, I always try to prepare myself to be severely disappointed but I wasn't with the book thief!
I did the same thing before seeing the movie. I thought they would do a poor job with the movie, but I was Wrong.
Emily wrote: "I am not a book cryer, but The Book Theif made me bawl my eyes out. It is so good."
I know right! The ending... I had to pause the movie because I couldn't see the screen through my tears!

I saw this at a bookshop and had to get it! I'm about to read it after I finish kings cage by Victoria Aveyard! (Which will probably take forever since I'm not liking it!) One thing you need to know about me is that the more I hate a book the longer it takes to read. But I will finish this book! I loved the first book and I still believe in Cal and Mare and Maven!
I can't wait to hear what you think of it, Lottie! It's been so long since I've read it and I think I'm definitely due for a reread soon!
