I feel like Passengers was based on this book, anyone else?

I haven't read both the books, so I don't know. I'll try catching up soon, though.

I liked this series! The first book was fairly predictable, but the rest of the series wasn't as much. I liked the characters Amy and Elder, and the plot was action packed and never too slow.

I've only read the first book. How many are there?
