Keeper of the Lost Cities (RP) discussion

Ignor walked into the Cafeteria and looked around for Hita. He was a bit bruised from Elementism, since he had succeeded in capturing fire but burning his wrist in the process, but eager to see her. He supposed he may have to stop by the Healing Center later to sort things out.

Ignor got in line with a tray for food, figuring he could find her after he got something.

"Tried to catch fire in Elementism and missed," he said, glancing at her as he loaded his plate with food. "Where's Silver?"

"I thought I might stop by the Healing Center when I finish lunch," he explained. "I hope he doesn't steal anyone's jewelry or something." He grinned at her. "I have Elvin History next so if I'm late to that, well, not such a great loss."

"Well, that's their problem." Ignor said with a little smile. "You can always blame it on Elwin's banshee or something." He looked around for a table.

Ignor winced as well and casually pulled the necklace out of Silver's mouth. He gave it a scan, like only a Technopath could. He made a few expert tweaks to places that were fallen in from Silver's mouth and showed it to Hita. "All fixed," he informed her. "Now the hard part." He stepped up and cleared his throat. "Hey whoever just had a raccoon steal their necklace, sorry about that. He likes shiny things. Want it back?"

Ignor laughed a little. "Alright that's fixed." He spotted an empty table and headed to it.

"Eh, it's fine," he told her, even though it stung a bit. He sat down and starting eating his brattails. "So um, about what Atlas said..." he started awkwardly.

Ignor wasn't sure why he was bringing up the awkward topic. "About that.. I mean... Hita.." He took a deep breath. "Hita I like you. She was right." He looked up into her eyes. "And I'm not sure why I'm saying this but I really do."

Ignor looked at. "Soo do you know what we do now?" he asked, taking another bite of his food. "I mean, are we boyfriend and girlfriend now or does it not work like that? I don't know what I'm doing," he admitted.

"So uh wanna get some Mallowmelt after school?" he asked.

Ignor grinned at her, finishing up his Brattails. "I should probably go get my wrist checked now," he said with a sigh.

"No, that would be great!" Ignor told her. "I hate just sitting there while Elwin digs around for medicine or does something." He stood up, wincing slightly when he bumped his wrist on the table.

Chalise sat at a table, staring in slight disgust at her tray of food. Her cat could make better food than this... At least, that was her opinion. But her opinion had always been rather snobbish, even if she didn't pay enough attention to the affects it had on others to realize it. "I'd rather starve," she grumbled under her breath, but started eating the food nonetheless.

Addie frowned as she navigated through the lunch tables. Another day, another lunch if sitting by herself. Only... the tables were pretty much all full. She decided on a table with only one girl who looked about her age. That would be easier. "Mine if I sit here?" She asked the girl.

Chalise looked up sharply and swiftly examined the girl. Same age, same level. Huh. She shrugged. "I suppose not," she said with a slight so-so bob of her head.

"Thanks," she said, sitting down. "Don't know what I would have done." Well, she did know. Another day of eating in the Alchemy room. She looked down at her tray. "Aw, shoot. Forgot the strawberry flavored juice." She concentrated, snapped her fingers, and voila! A strawberry juice. She happily drank it.

Chalise cocked her head. "Conjurer?" She asked, genuinely curious, as she was about most abilities since she hadn't manifested herself yet.

"Yeah! Just manifested a month ago." She kept drinking her strawberry juice, before realizing it was half empty. "Well, shoot shoot s h o o t. If the rest of it landed in Magnate Leto's office... oh no..." Addie sighed. "Oh, sorry! I haven't even introduced myself! I'm Addie. Addie Zeal."

((Eeeeeeeeeyouch that hurt. Random question, have you read Lodestar yet?))

Chalise waved a hand dismissively. "It's alright. I'm Chalise Lightfall, but I go by Lizzy. Pleasure to meet you, possibly."

((I feel like I should clarify that her first name is pronounced "sha-leez" instead of "cha-liss"))

((Yep! Read it Halloween night, and stayed up until three to finish. I'll proud to say I'm one of the like, first 100 people to finish. Possibly. Probably.))
"Possibly a pleasure to meet you too. Just don't know if you're one of those fashion obsessed girls that can't think of anything except boys. No offence if you are."

"Boys are irritating so I would say no, I am not one of those." Lizzy ate another bite of her food. "Peasant food," she grumped.

"Agreed," Addie scoffed. "Peasant food? Seems like you chose the wrong dish. I'd suggest the Sudanberry Pie, the chefs really know what they're doing."

Lizzy shrugged. "I've never had that so it's a new prospect, but most things I've eaten are considered peasant food in my eyes."

((I've had Mallowmelt too! My mom, the Keeper fan she is, found it and made it for my 13th birthday!))
"Hmm, really? I guess you're just eating the wrong stuff. Or maybe you have high expectations for your food..." She said out loud, mostly talking to herself.

((I had it for my thirteenth birthday too! But I hadn't converted my mom to Keeper back then yet))

"The latter," Lizzy confirmed flatly. She ate a bite of her food and sighed. "How are your classes going?" She asked, attempting to start a conversation.

"Meh. Teachers are boring." But a glint appeared in her eye. "Alchemy, however... provides a wonderful selection of pranks..." She smiled mischievously. "Anyways, what about you?"

"Honestly, I couldn't be trying less," Lizzy said nonchalantly. "But apparently I'm still doing pretty good. Which is great because I get a higher score out of minimal effort." She paused. "Which I don't recommend trying because I'm pretty sure that particular skill just runs in the family."

Addie looked at Lizzy in shock. "Give me some of your brains! I have to study until 3 at night sometimes! And you pass everything with no effort?! Lucky..." She bit her cheek and pouted. "No fair..."

"Well I'd offer to help, but I don't know how I do it so..." Liz shrugged. "My sister and brother are able to do it too."

"Geez, is there anything you aren't good at?!" Addie sighed. While she was a year ahead, that didn't mean she automatically didn't have to study like any other normal person.

"I've heard my people skills aren't the best, but I'm talking to you and you aren't crying so I'm think I'm fairly fine in that department," Liz said dully. She was secretly impressed though. Her people skills were really not very good, so the fact that this girl was even still talking to her was unheard of.

"Mine aren't the best either..." Addie sighed. "I can't relate to any of the older kids. I skipped a year, so I'm in my third year now, but I don't have anyone my age, and that only makes it harder to talk to people."

"Well technically you do now because I'm in the same situation." Liz shrugged.

Addie started at her, mouth wide open. "You too?!" She screeched. "I'm not alone!" She stood up and started dancing in circles. "I'm not alone~ I'm not alone~" she sang.

Liz raised an eyebrow and half smiled/smirked. "Yeahhhh!"

Roblin sat at a table, glancing up from his lunch to look for Madeline.

Madeline arrived. "Hey Roblin." She had cleaned up a bit.

Roblin grinned. "Did you happen to pass any professors on the way here?" He asked innocently.

"No..." Madeline said carefully. "Why?" She asked, confused by Roblin's question.

Roblin smirked. "Just testing a new potion."

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Well, I might have filled this-" He placed a small spray bottle on the counter. "-with a balding mixture. Then coated all the professors I passed."

"Then they might not be wanted to be seen." Madeline pointed out.

"Well, they can't hide forever," Roblin said gleefully. "And the best part is, I sprayed them when they were in crowd. They have no clue who did it!"

"That's awesome." Madeline grinned.

Roblin smirked. "I know," He slipped the vial in his pocket and gestured to the seat next to him.
