Lynaia | 153 comments I enjoyed both of those. I also loved In the Sweet Dry and Dry. It's so completely absurd which I absolutely love.

Ivan | 561 comments Parnassus On Wheels - This book is a lark and an idyll. It’s escapist literature. In my mind I have established a village populated with my favorite characters from all the books I’ve read. Roger and Helen live there and their haunted bookshop (Parnassus at Home) is right on Main Street.

I now have both Parnassus and Bookshop. Is it better to read Parnassus before Bookshop or doesn't it matter?

Lynaia | 153 comments I read Bookshop first since that was the first book I found by Morley. It wasn't a problem reading it first but the events of Parnassis do come before Bookshop.

Jan C (woeisme) | 1526 comments Okay. Thanks.

My parents had Bookshelf on their shelves for years. I picked up the paperback some time ago and more recently came across Parnassus.

Ivan | 561 comments I went on Facebook today and my friend Willie posted this picture of Parnassus on Wheels by Christopher Morley Parnassus on Wheels - which we found in a local bookshop, He was thanking me for recommending it to him - he loved it. How random is that? He is not on Goodreads - he knows nothing of this discussion.
