Mike Newman | 2 comments Hi,

I'm new here and not sure if I'm posting in the right section, however:

I have already published a first edition of my memoir and it needs revision. I've been working on the manuscript but am looking for input relating to how this version reads: clearly I want it to be better!
The technical aspects, although input is good to have, is not the primary focus.

The book focuses on one segment of my life, up to the present time, and I want to know if I have engaged the reader (and continue to do so as each chapter ends), if there are any inconsistent or outstanding issues, and if any areas need building on further.

I have a manuscript in Word, and would be pleased to pass all or some of it on for your opinions. You are, after all, the people who are familiar with this type of work.

As I say, I don't know if I've posted in the right place. If I haven't, just point me in the right direction.

Many thanks for reading.

Yes, you are in the right place. I hope someone here is able to help you. Unfortunately, I currently don't have the time due to all my client deadlines.
Kindest,
Leila

Mike Newman | 2 comments Hi Leila and sorry I didn't reply before.

I've actually published it. Getting anybody to read the ms was like pulling teeth!

I might still be able to read your friend's if you want to message me.

At the moment I'm doing a couple of book reviews for someone, but if a client doesn't get back to me over the weekend I might have time.

Best
