Taken from The Gaurdian Online:

"Ben & Jerry's is considering launching a library-themed ice-cream flavour, after a campaign by a New Jersey librarian gathered thousands of supporters.

Burlington county librarian Andy Woodworth already has more than 4,400 people signed up to a Facebook group supporting his plan, which he hopes will raise awareness of libraries "in the face of stagnant or slashed state, county, and municipal budgets".

Suggestions for flavours range from Gooey Decimal System to Sh-sh-sh-sherbet. Woodworth writes on Facebook that the logic behind the scheme is that "libraries are awesome, Ben & Jerry's ice-cream is tasty, therefore a library-themed Ben & Jerry's ice-cream would be tasty awesome".

Gooey Decimal System could combine dark fudge alphabet letters with caramel swirls in hazelnut ice-cream, he suggests, while Dusty Stacks could be a layered ice-cream with speckles of cocoa in every layer. Li-Berry pie could mix lime sherbet with raspberry sauce and pie-crust pieces, and Overdue Fine as Fudge Chunk could drop fudge brownies and white chocolate coins into milk chocolate ice-cream swirled with caramel. The fine details of Sh-sh-sh-sherbet aren't pinned down quite yet – it could be key lime, or possibly a vanilla/chocolate combination.

Arnold Carbone, Ben & Jerry's flavour guru, said the company had honoured musicians with its flavours in the past – last year it launched Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road (chocolate ice-cream with peanut butter cookie dough, butter brickle and white chocolate chunks) for Elton John – so a library-themed flavour was a definite possibility."

I'd eat that, especially the way they described some of the flavors. Yum! :P

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

It's a bit wierd, but Ben & Jerry's has a lot of other wierd flavors already, this should be no different.

I'd so eat them. I used to shelve part-time in a library (heaven!) so I have an affinity... :)

Anyway, the correct answer was that cheezburgers was a website.
This website ---> http://icanhascheezburger.com/

That's why it was a question for BookGeek, because she knows all about it.

It is their mission to make you laugh at least twice a day when looking on their website...

They then get thier power supply filled with the loud laughter of people all over the world. Then, taking the most concentrated doses and bottling it, they set use it to power a highly sofisticated space ship-- in the shape of a cat, it's propellers looking like whiskers. As they prepare the containers to use as fuel, so they can return to their planet... The planet of lol cats.

Um, I haven't copied anyone in anything recently, so I guess I don't like to.

Do you like Sushi? Some people don't like sushi. I love sushi.

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

I really like Unagi, people will not touch it because of what it is, but it's just like really sweetly marinated chicken to me. It's easier to convince someone to try the tuna.

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

I think it's the different fishes, with different flavors. Different assortments, sometimes multiple fishes (weird) and the different combinations. Some chefs like to custom make sauces that they drip over the sushi. Sometimes they put cooked things together with the raw.

I actually had an Unagi roll that a chef took (something that looked like) a blowtorch to. That had a smokey flavor. But I'd say the biggest difference is the number of different kinds of fishes they can use, not every fish tastes the same.

♥BookGeek♥ wrote: "Dude, where do you live?
My local Japanese restaurant only serves the usual. Tuna. Salmon. Shrimp. California roll... pretty boring stuff..."

I got those rolls I mentioned at a sushi place in Naperville, Illinois when I used to live there a few years ago. It's not exactly a city setting. If you look hard enough (or if it exists) you can find a sushi place just about anywhere.

Now I live in California which (minus Japan) is basically sushi central.

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

♥BookGeek♥ wrote: "I wish I could get my dad on sushi again. Can you help?"

You want him to try it again? All I can say is there are 1000 different varieties of sushi (google) and when all else fails, ask the chef what he/she recommends. They've probably seen which of their rolls gets the most praise. And check the price first, you don't want to be robbed!

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

Your welcome. :)
