Beautiful gardens behind the school filled with trees and plants of all types, and with a flowing fountain in the middle!

((I don't know if you still want to do this since I won't be on for a while, but here's the first post for the roleplay with your cook and my teacher :))Running her fingers through the clear fountain water, Ariana sat by the side of it. She hummed softly to herself the tune that one of her students had composed earlier, enjoying how the students were growing in their compositions. She loved the peace and quiet of the gardens. Don't get her wrong, she loved people and a good chat, but it was nice to be alone sometimes.
((S'all good! I'll respond in a little while, my gr is being weird and deselecting the box whenever I try to type (I wrote this in the url of a new tab) and I can wait until Lent is over :) I'm in no hurry))
Isabella's feet were near silent on the grass beneath her as she leisurely walked around the park. It was a beautiful day, and (on a dare from her husband), had ultimately decided to take her daily stroll barefoot. Despite the humorous manner it put her mood in, she still somehow found a sense of peace and quiet in the walk, and took it as a way to unwind from the needy and demanding orders from the students. Being a cook wasn't easy, she thought with a sigh. Her keen eyes caught on another teacher at Blue Lake-- a teacher of whose name she could not recall-- but she just gave her a slight wave and continued on her way to one of the small benches scattered in the small clearing. She didn't want to disturb her- she probably needed the relaxation time as much as Isabella herself did.
Ariana noticed Isabella walking around and paused her singing. She gave her a friendly smile. She had seen her around, but where? Well, what better thing to do than ask? Oh, but what if she wanted to be alone? Ashley kept her outside demeanor calm as she continued her walk, but subtly changed her path toward the woman. She would probably give a sign if she didn't want to talk.
As she neared the bench, Isabella let her eyes trail up to the sky. It was cool against her skin, as she was wearing only light tan shorts and a flowing white shirt. It wasn't what any normal student would expect from a teacher's clothing style, but Isabella was still rather young and had never truly changed her fashion style to suit her job.
Noticing Ariana's change in path towards her, a small smile bloomed over her lips. She would feel terribly bad if the woman knew her name, as she would have nothing to respond to, but maybe they'd just never met and neither truly knew each other. Her life was a constant jumble of faces without names, and she was bound to forget someone, at least once.
Ariana noticed her smile and returned it brightly. She neared her and turned to walk beside her. "Hello," she greeted her. "Have we met before? I'm Ariana Violet. I teach the Creative Arts here."
"Hello," Isabella responded in greeting as she stood from her place on the bench. "And perhaps? I'm Isabella Yang, one of the cooks here." Relief flooded through her at the fact that Ariana just made the whole situation a lot less awkward by giving her her name first, and Isabella was extremely grateful for that.
"Oh how fun!" Ariana exclaimed. "What's your favorite dish to make? I've dabbled in cooking but never been serious about doing it for a living or anything of the sort." She noticed Isabella had stood up, and debated whether she should sit or not.
Her weight shifted from side to side in just sheer social awkwardness, but she tried to shake off the feeling before she answered. "Hmmm, that's a hard one, but I'd have to say classic ramen," she finally answered with a smile. She always loved chopping up the ingredients, and the taste was excellent, although making the noodles from scratch could be tiresome. "But's that's only when I'm not mass-producing for the schools."
"That makes sense," Ariana agreed, opting to sit down on the bench. "I mostly do the occasional box cake or some noodles or something basic like that." She laughed slightly at how amateur she sounded next to Isabella.
Isabella laughed as well, but followed it with a kind smile. "That's not that basic," she assured her. "Trust me, every night I offer to cook something for my husband, and every night he just says he prefers mac and cheese! I eventually force him to eat something good once in a while, but I guess he's just adjusting from a life of fast food on the go that his job inspired," she explained with a sigh and exasperated roll of her eyes.
"What is his job? Does he travel a lot?" Ariana inquired, slightly amused by Isabella's dramatic act. "I would certainly prefer a home-cooked meal to something from a can."
"JJ's a figure skater. He went to the Grand Prix once in representation of Canada, but he only got Bronze. We moved here when I got my job, and he skates at a rink in town," she finished with a smile. "He still's travels, but not as much anymore."
"Bronze is pretty good for the Grand Prix!" Ariana commented. "Personally, I'm single. I actually board here at the Academy because I like it that way." She shrugged slightly. "I love both learning and teaching so this is a fun place to be. I spend time at the library, with my students, doing my art, and things like that."
"Bronze is very good, but he didn't take it that way," she responded, a frown creeping over her lips. "But being singles fine! It must be fun to board here." In truth, Isabella sometimes longed for the days when she was single; when she wasn't held back by her husband's work, but she'd never admit that to anyone, not even herself.
"Yes," Ariana agreed. "Quite fun, but sometimes I wish I had a little more privacy. Nothing good comes without a price!" She smiled at Isabella.
Isabella laughed. "I suppose that is true, even with marriage!" It was sad really; she'd imagined them as a married couple to be living in a literal paradise with all the money they ever wanted, but she'd never taken reality into account when envisioning their future.
"Every person has good and bad qualities," Ariana adjusted the white cardigan she was wearing. No person she had ever met was perfect; or all bad for that matter!
She nodded. "JJ's everything but perfect, and I love him for that," she explained with a small blush accompanied by a smile.
Ariana laughed slightly. "So you would hate a perfect person?" she asked curiously. "Some would and some wouldn't I think."
Isabella chewed on the inside of her mouth as the thought about it. "I don't know... but it would get a bit annoying to be with someone so error free all the time, wouldn't it? I would think that they wouldn't feel human."
Autumn sat on the edge of the fountain looking through the pictures on her camera. Even though it was a beautiful day outside Autumn was having more fun living in her own little world.
Autumn felt something brush against her leg and she looked up from her camera. It was a dog. She turned of her camera and put it on her lap as she started to pet the dog. A smile appeared on her face. She loved dogs.
Autumn noticed Tray but the collar back on the dog. She then looked up.
"Hi," she said.
"Hi," she said.
"It's alright," Autumn replied.
"Autumn."
Autumn lifted the camera off of her lap and put the strap around her neck. Then she looked back up at Tray again.
Autumn lifted the camera off of her lap and put the strap around her neck. Then she looked back up at Tray again.
Autumn turned on her camera and took a picture of Tray and his dog and then continued to look through her other pictures.
The stick ended up landing close by Autumn. She looked up from her camera and saw Sasha running towards her. She didn't notice the stick until it was in Sasha's mouth.
Autumn stood up and then picked up her tote bag.
"It's alright," Autumn replied, "Can I try?"
Autumn had never had a dog before but she had always wanted one.
Autumn had never had a dog before but she had always wanted one.
Autumn took it and threw it. Sasha immediately ran after it but it landed in the fountain.
"Oops..I'm so sorry," Autumn said as she ran after Sasha.
"Oops..I'm so sorry," Autumn said as she ran after Sasha.
Autumn quickly reached the fountain and in fact almost beat Sasha.
Autumn immediately stepped back but still got water splashed on her.
Autumn smiled and followed Sasha back to Tray. She loved animals.
"Only a little bit," Autumn replied.
((Do you still want to continue this or no?))
Sienna passed by with her camera. She was practicing with the flowers around the garden. She took some pictures around, but wasn't particularly satisfied with the results. Just then, she caught the glimpse of a butterfly. Being an insectophobic, Sienna normally wouldn't get too close, but she felt that it would make a great picture if she managed to capture it in the right moment, although that would require a lot of skill and luck. She followed the butterfly with her sight until it posed over one of the flowers. Fascinated, Sienna got closer, kneeled, and focused the camera on it. She waited a second, then attempted to press the button, but her finger clumsily slipped over it and activated the flash. The photo came out, not only ruined and scaring the little insect away, but, because of the pose she had taken to focus on her objective, revealed her position making her appear to be stalking another girl across the bush where the butterfly had landed.
The flash had been quite obvious, and Sienna slowly stood up with a nervous expression on her face. She prepared all sorts of apologies and explanations to give.
"I didn't meant to- I wasn't, well, it did was on your direction, but- I accidentally left the flash on- but I wasn't sneaking- Haha- It was an accident... I was trying to take a picture to something else..." Sienna said... or tried to say something like this. She had messed up for being so nervous, and now was visibly embarrassed. She couldn't make eye contact with the girl, she was too ashamed for that. "S-sorry..." she muttered.
The girl's comprehension made Sienna felt relieved. "Sienna," she answered. She slightly opened her mouth as if she was about to say something else, but closed it fast. She still felt a bit embarrassed.
"A butterfly, right on that's bush," she answered, gesturing towards where she had spotted the insect."I'm so sorry for the confusion, I surely looked like a creep," Sienna apologized.
"Yeah, it was kind of embarrassing... But I'm glad you understood," Sienna confessed, rubbing her arm."...So... another person had been sneaking photos of you?" She asked curiously, trying not to let any awkward silence happen.
Seeing that Elizabeth made a spot for her in the bench, Sienna thought it would be rude not to accompany her for at least a moment."I certainly hope he stopped it. I can't imagine how horrible must it be to be followed by a stalker," she said as she took a sit beside her.
Sienna rose an eyebrow with a surprised expression. That was very unexpected for her, but the girl seemed very nice and she had the rest of the day free. She shrugged.
"What's it about?" She inquired.
This couldn't get any more random... or creepy, but Sienna, amused, thought it would be make for a great story to tell her other friends."Sure," she answered with a discrete smile.
"I don't know, you tell me. I'm fine with most of the coffee shops around BLA, and I've got the rest of the day free," Sienna informed.
"Perfect," Sienna said, giving away a warm smile to Elizabeth. "You can lead the way."This was something Sienna deeply liked about BLA, the students where usually nice and easy-going. There where many awkward things about this whole situation, but she was confident that she could keep the day interesting and not filled with awkward silences. Elizabeth seemed to be pretty interesting herself.
