Frank Clarke | 2 comments I've just finished reading His Bloody Project by Graeme Macrae Burnett and would really recommend it. It was nominated for the Man Booker Prize in 2016 and I bought it, along with Wyl Menmuir's, The Many and Ian McGuire's The North Water, when the long list was announced. It was the only one of the three to make the shortlist and, now I've finally got around to reading it, I know why. I read it in three sittings. Absolutely, superb tale of the murder of three members of a small crofting community in Scotland and the subsequent trial of the murderer.

Lee Ratcliffe | 6 comments I've got this but not looked at it properly. I think I've bought every book that's been nominated for the booker shortlist for the last 10 years and spent the majority of that 10 years shuffling them around my shelves deciding which comes next but rarely getting round to any of them. That second child that we had reduced my reading time by 99%. I'll pick this up though. Thanks.
