Alone at night
I’ve seen you in the dark,
In those places where you shouldn’t be,
And I’ve asked you
Too many times where you never answered.
Underneath the flashing neon sky you love,
I see you dancing
For so many nights when we could be together instead.
Sometimes I wonder
What I should do in the dark
When I’m so alone,
And nothing hurts more than knowing,
Alone at night,
That I can’t let this go,
Because when I’m without you everything is all needles and pain,
And whatever you did,
I still would not be able
To stop myself from keeping holding on to you
With both hands, hard,
And never let you go,
Even when you leave me here,
Alone at night,
Every single night.
I’ve told you before,
And you laugh like the light
Inside you has sparkled,
And suddenly my focus is gone.
Sometimes I regret,
And I cry, alone at night.
Alone at night:
The story of my life.
I’ve seen you in the dark,
In those places where you shouldn’t be,
And I’ve asked you
Too many times where you never answered.
Underneath the flashing neon sky you love,
I see you dancing
For so many nights when we could be together instead.
Sometimes I wonder
What I should do in the dark
When I’m so alone,
And nothing hurts more than knowing,
Alone at night,
That I can’t let this go,
Because when I’m without you everything is all needles and pain,
And whatever you did,
I still would not be able
To stop myself from keeping holding on to you
With both hands, hard,
And never let you go,
Even when you leave me here,
Alone at night,
Every single night.
I’ve told you before,
And you laugh like the light
Inside you has sparkled,
And suddenly my focus is gone.
Sometimes I regret,
And I cry, alone at night.
Alone at night:
The story of my life.
Good-bye M'dearBye
Bye-bye m'dear
I know you dont understand, but its for the best
The only thing I ask m'dear is for you to rest
"Whats worse than dying is dying while living"
Granma May said that
Remember her?
I bet you do
You used to chew her hats
The ones she wore for Sunday church?
She got mad at you you see
But her anger never stayed
You werent punished thanks to me
It basically means you were in pain
And we didnt want to see you suffer only in vain
A shoulder broken
A heart so sore
Who was dying? You or me?
I barely know anymore
You remember me?
I know you do
I gave all my finals words to you
You lied down and listened
And I told you the truth
It was the last time I saw you m'dear
I cried many tears
My boyfriend tried to comforted me
But my sadness still is near
I have new ones in my life
They really are cute
They drive me crazy
You woulda loved them too
Her name is Hope
His is Caspian
I pray they dont go
Just like you did
Good-bye Mufasa
Dont forget:
Its was better you die now, then when you are living
(R.I.P. Mufasa my lovely Great Dane)
Im tired
Of being your jester.
I've been the clown.
Now it's your turn.
Tell me a joke,
Do a stupid trick.
Is that all you want me for?
I have more you don't see.
I have passion.
I have love.
I have brains.
I have music.
I have opinions.
I have a voice.
Come get it if you dare.
I'm willing to share.
I'm bored listening to you.
I have problems too.
I have things to say,
Stories to tell.
Just listen for a change.
I won't be there anymore
Getting told,
"Stop."
"Don't do that."
"Hang on"
"Not now"
If not now, when?
Never?
Yeah, thats what I thought.
Give me a try,
I dare you.
I don't think you're ready for this.
I've been here the whole time,
But do you really know the treasure
In the chest, just waiting?
Waiting for so long to be found.
I'm tired,
Of being told you love me.
People I love are never pushed away,
They are safe,
Under my protection.
You could be there too,
But I don't love you anymore.
You lost that long ago, and now
You lost me.
Of being your jester.
I've been the clown.
Now it's your turn.
Tell me a joke,
Do a stupid trick.
Is that all you want me for?
I have more you don't see.
I have passion.
I have love.

(new)
When I'm Gone
And when I'm gone
Then you'll see the error of your ways.
You'll heave a breath of pain and
Look out the candle-lighted window,
Hoping for a homecoming that will never materialize.
And when I'm gone
Then you'll realize how good I was;
How I always cooked for you, and the scent
Of that food and cleanliness
Filled the house until it was bursting with goodness
And all you had to do
Was come home:
That's what you'll think about for days on end.
And when I'm gone
Then you'll toss about in your empty bed
And feel cold sheets on the other side,
Rolling, always rolling over, and never finding
Anyone there.
And when I'm gone
Then you'll wish that I was here.
You'll long for me, and what I was, and
You'll fill my phone with calls that beg for me
To come back.
You'll know what it feels like to be scared and alone
When I'm gone.
And when I sit alone on your bed in the dark,
And listen to the howling wind
And check my phone again
And again,
This is what I tell myself,
That when I'm gone you'll suffer
Like I have.
I console myself with these thoughts and
I wait for you.
And when I'm gone
Then you'll see the error of your ways.
You'll heave a breath of pain and
Look out the candle-lighted window,
Hoping for a homecoming that will never materialize.
And when I'm gone

After you You let me swing so high
that my ride became bumpy.
You let me slam down a hammer
on the nails that held together the tree house.
You let me fall at the curb,
scrap my knee and let me bleed.
You let me call on others
like they are are less than me
You let me lie next to him
as I thought about our roles.
You let me play with little dolls
be a mother at five.
You let me build a tent with old blankets
and leave it for mom to clean.
You let me lose the 100 meter dash
even though I had the longest legs.
You let me feel so free
that I think only of me.
I never meant what I said
behind your back.
I never asked you to saddle your own horse
and right down into the sunset.
I never said I didn't enjoy your company
but maybe you didn't like mine.
I never told you to leave,
but I guess it's just who you are.
I never wanted us to be Romeo and Juliet
Lets just let it go.
Now it feels like I'm the one who kidnapped you.
