Haha Vaio is the brand of my laptop!! I know, so sad! It's a Sony Vaio but the backdrop just says Vaio.

Meeru is in the Maldives. We are hoping to go next year for my 40th birthday.

I've had this laptop for years and hasn't let me down yet. Just wish I'd changed the backdrop to something before starting this challenge!!

Yes, it's going to be interesting to see how you interpret that and find a book that will fit. You might have to go with the colour of the screen, or a title that is one word starting with V.

The challenge wording says to "Interpret that desk top picture any way you like. Read a book that represents that interpretation."

Since your Vaio hasn't ever let you down, you might read a book where reliability and/or loyalty are important traits.

Or since Vaio is a computing device, you could read a book where computers played a central role to the subject/plot.

It will be fun to see where you go with this one.

Or seeing as the VIAO company is headquartered in Japan, you could read a book set there??

Wow guys! Thanks for these fantastic ideas. I had gone down the route of Vaio being a computer brand to read something with computers or IT but I love the idea of reading a book set in Japan.
